I'm still dealing with the August 11th flood. I had a completely finished basement (bar, game room with solid oak pool table, home theater, etc)...44" of sewage; lost everything. All new mechanical is in, along with washer and dryer, new shitter, etc. We will never rebuild it all though. Great space to play floor hockey now though :( Is insurance not covering it? Flood Insurance? Don't have it. Don't know of anyone who did. I'm in the madison heights/warren area...our communities got hit really really bad. I did have a flood/sewage rider ($5000), but that didn't even cover my pool table let along the home theater, carpet, furniture, etc. I had my insurance check in two days though, so that was nice. Great company, no questions...let us know what else we can do. I told them we have a lot of elderly neighbors in the area that need grunt work help. A few companies came in to help them. Most people that had a rider though, where in the $5000 - $10,000 range. Not bad if you had the $10k. But anyway, didn't cover what we needed. No FEMA/grant money because we had that rider/i make too much/other rules I hit that don't qualify for FEMA. But was able to get a loan from the SBA (who handles all this past FEMA). We got enough to redo all the mechanical, bathroom, shower and many of our personal items. We have no interest in going into debt to rebuild how it was. Things we can never get back: all our childhood K-12/College stuff, baby books, 50+ years of mostly handmade xmas ornaments from our grandmas. Stuff like that. Had I known the shit was going to get higher then a couple inches, I would have saved some things. But in about 30 minutes, it was coming in too quick/and getting high. Barely had time to kill the breakers (we had no power, but didn't want it to come back on and cause issues) and get a wall/door built into the basement to keep our pets from going down there. On a bright side, we had a lot of people come help (friends and family). We had the basement completely gutted in about 36 hours along with two rounds of cleaning/bleaching/Concrobium mold control done too. Couldn't have done it without them.

All things point to a deal or offer from the Tigers north of $200 million. Should know in a few hours.
Also, Avila rumors are heating up again. That would make me happy to have him traded.

Well...
If one where to say, have a relative that pays for a cable/sat/whatever package that includes internet...said package includes email addresses. Have that relative set you up with an email address. With that, you can use it to authenticate to say, ESPN's WatchESPN (it has all their networks that matters). It would be like when you travel. Go to a hotel, bring up WatchESPN...it blocks knowing you aren't on your home network and access for your prompts for your provider credentials (email mentioned above). Bam, you are in.
Works on smart TVs, phones, tablets, laptops, etc...at home, on the road, anywhere you have internet access with the device you want to watch on. ESPN isn't the only one that has this feature/app. In fact, some providers have their own app, and you login with that...and get all your channels like it was in front of you.
Or...just buy a SlingBox, set it up at a friend's house that has an extra cable box for you (or pay them the monthly fee for an extra cable box)...and as long as you have internet, again, you can watch everything.
So I've heard. I may or have may have not used the above mentioned ideas, or have been the relative/friend that provided the above mentioned ideas. :D

Yeah, the back stories on the characters are what I'm liking the best. Selina and Enigma the most.
And as for Gordon's guard duty stint, can't wait for that story arc to start.

And I'm okay with that; the artistic license. Just hope it keeps going. The last show I got involved with like this, was Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles and it got cancelled way too damn soon. I hope I'm not bad luck.

I stopped posting for months at a time. Would gawk every now and then, but that's it.
Can only talk about beer or baseball to the same people over and over for so many times before...eh. Hahaha ;)
Sold my dual tap keggerator finally too. So I'm back to "make my own 6 packs" from my favorite party stores and tasting events.

As one who isn't a comic book nerd, nor do I know any "true" stories for any of these characters (be it from tv shows, movies, marvel, dc, this story arc/that story arc) it's fun and entertaining. Those uber comic peeps pick all this stuff apart and I prefer just to enjoy.

Lester is now a Cub. Cubs suck and will rub off on him...too bad. I liked Lester. Glad he didn't go to Boston though.

Interesting. Thanks...will look into that 3 team deal.
Oh, back to my original post...I'm actually okay with Porcello being traded, as long as what we get back is an everyday player in a need we have. Not for a couple of super subs.

Now that this thread has gone to two pages, I'm only seeing "next page" options at the top of the thread. So when you get down to the bottom of page 1, you have to scroll all the way back to the top to click on page 2/next.
I'm using FF.
EDIT: nevermind :) figure it out
