I haven't read every page, so this may have been asked... Any Untappd users here? We can share usernames to add each other's latest beer exploits. I'm slowly creeping my way up to number 700. I just got back from the UP and hit up Tahquamenon Falls brewery (yes, they have a brewery at the falls) again. Long drive for some beers ;) BTW....user name is Flintoid on untappd
Added you a couple days ago. Been busy; haven't had time to get back on here.

I'm not a sour fan. I've tried 4 or 5 times. Just can't do it.

I have discovered Modern Family. LOVE that show, especially Ed O'Neill's character. And I have just stopped watching it. It got...not sure...like a larger cast version of 3s Company. And I hated that show. I did enjoy it a lot, just not anymore. Claire was my favorite (chick from Happy Gilmore).

And how many people had hats on backwards while wearing tank tops.

What is with all the "younger" players and all their hand gestures when they got on first/second after a hit this year? I don't recall them doing it as often in years past. Not talking about point the to sky or finger kisses. Things like "eating" off a plate, or making weird signs with their fingers to crazy gyrations toward their teammate at the plate.

Great ending Monday. I had to do more googling after the episode to understand things (again, not a comic reader/know all the story arcs) so needed some help on the Court of Owls.

So, got a nice big hammock and stand for my birthday back in December. Been great to finally use it. Beers, music, hammock...great way to end the work day.

What's on the grill this weekend? I'm keeping it simple, as I'm having over one of my son's bands to feed them...you know, starving artists. Hard to be a rock star. So will be doing the simple classics of hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, etc. And, shudder, cheap beer. Ha! My kindness only goes so far ;)

I guess I don't get worked up about this anymore like I use to. For any of the sports teams I root for. Guess I'm losing interest in, or tired of putting forth, monetary and time commitments. I've found other things to do.
I still watch, but I sure have no problem changing the channel or just going to bed with a few outs left/minutes to go/whatever the sport is, be it for a win or a loss.

I'm letting the last 4 (starting with the show on the 13th) get picked up by the DVR first; then watch them all at once.
Will be a long time until season 2 starts in September.

Soria has been pretty damn stellar. Quick and efficient. Pitch and leave, no antics/tics/whatever on the mound.

I have almost completely stopped all local sports radio now. It isn't so much the hosts now (that was a big part of it), but holy crap the people calling in just makes my blood boil. I don't need that crap. I'm not sure how to turn "off" that part of my brain to care, but I do. Walmart radio. How do these people live and function in life?

Walk stat is true. Bad news on Nathan though, Ausmus article yesterday on M-Live says about Nathan being the close when gets back: "That's the plan," Ausmus said. "We'll see what happens, but that's the plan. The most important thing is to get him back. Our bullpen is stronger with Joe in it." www.mlive.com/tigers/index.ssf/2015/04/joe_nathan_throws_for_first_ti.htmlFingers crossed he isn't back.

And that's fine with me. When a character keeps re-appearing, I google to find any back story if I didn't know something about him/her.

If you ever decided to hang anything or mount anything on the railing system, you might introduce some issues with the power coat coming off the areas you drill into...and then over time it will start coming off even more. That would be my thought on that.

I didn't know anything about Dr. Dulmacher or Kristen Kringle. Google clued me in what arc Dollmaker is all about, but wasn't much help really on Kringle. But that's okay. I still enjoy NOT knowing. There was another name early on in one of the first few episodes, but don't remember which one it was. Might have been one of the cops...or government officials. Name kept popping up and it sounded familiar.

I did something similar with Kentucky Derby tickets a few years back. Got in on the lottery for good seats (covered, with bar/lounge access, private bath, etc). When my number came up, I bought them ASAP as it was on the bucket list.
Shit, I then started looking for a place to stay. Holy hell. Camping sites, in open fields, 40 minutes away where going for $250. Nearest hotel room I could get under $200 was back near Cincinnati. That sure backfired. Dumped the tickets later that day on stub hub...simple sold at face value though plus enough to cover fees, wasn't looking to make a profit. Just wanted my money back.

On a few week break now, with 4 episodes to go starting back up in April. I've enjoyed it.
I took a gamble and read a few message boards related just to the show and man, people get their panties in a bunch so quick. Comic geeks on one side going all apeshit about "things aren't right or that isn't how it happened" and the other side yelling if you don't like it why are you watching/commenting on a forum about it and leave us alone.
I was hoping to get some insight on a few names that have popped up; because I'm not a comic geek and wanted to know their "story" if it was a name that appeared in past comics/books/story arcs. Boy was that a mistake.

As long as I'm not stuck with it on the last hole each round (pink is $5, each animal is $1).

...I'm going to swing the clubs again in mid May up in Grayling and Gaylord for 72 holes at various courses. Stupid game ;)
It's a group I golfed with in the past every fall up there. They decided to try spring this time, and wanted me to come along. Wish me luck, hoping to break 95 at least once! Good thing I've kept up my beer, Jack and tequila drinking skills. Cause that will be the only thing I will be good at.
I'm just going to start with pinky (for those not use to crazy rules, the first dolt that 3 puts must switch to a pink lady and keep using it until someone else 3 puts). We also play animals, so I'll take the gorilla card from the start too. Ha!

Wow man- what a catastrophe. Comparatively, our house burned down when I was in 5th grade. The loss was catastrophic and my parents literally were "between insurance companies" as they were making a switch at the time. I'm not sure what the rules about insurance were like at that point- but moral of the story- we got maybe $10k after a year of litigation. I was wearing donated clothes from Red Cross for like 2 years and we lived in a family friends basement for about a year. My parents never really recovered financially from it. I can imagine the frustration and pain you must have gone through during the situation My neighbor and I joked; not to make light of your situation when you were younger, but that something should just finish off the rest of the houses, like a fire or tornado. I can't imagine going through that as a kid. Sorry to hear that about your parents too. Things like that tend to lead to divorce or worse :( Some of the newer families, like I said mostly around us is elderly but there is some turn over of new parents with young kids and babies: wow, I would have know idea what I would have done like that. What if you don't have family near? You have to get the kids out of the house/don't want people getting sick. And that can be costly, say packing what you can and go live in a hotel for a few weeks. Ugh. What doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. Hope to never have to go through this again.
