Gase is gone and that is who many people were saying they wanted. Gas will be fired after two seasons in Miami. He took by far the worst coaching job on the market right now. Even Cleveland have many positives if the dumb ass owner step backā¦ San Fran is the worst job out there. It's not even close.

Tom Coughlin in Philadelphia could be interesting.

The only reason I disagree is the ability to actually manage the cap and go out and get players is something SF can do right now. Miami cap is shredded and they need a total overhaul of the defense which is hard to do with the cap problems they're facingā¦.

I don't have a problem with Quinn having Wood as a liaison to Martha. Thats typically how most front offices work.

First round wish list in no particular order.
A'shawn Robinson, Ragland, Buckner, Lawson, Decker, Elliott, pending on Calvin Tredwell.

Accorsi stay on on as a special advisor to Rod Wood. Nobody knows if it will result in a title, but it is definitely not "Same Old Lions".

like what? firing GM and President? Using an outside search firm for the first time? Hiring a GM from outside? Keeping league consultant on staff?
not sure what else you want.. will they end up being the right moves and turn us into a winner? who knows, but they've done all the right things so far

I want results. I want the correct number of players on the field at all times. I want good clock management. I want proper defense of a Hail Mary. I want the new GM to walk in the door and make a statement. If all the changes in the front office bring no changes on the field then it is 'Same Old Lions'. I want more than what they've been in most of our lifetimes and I don't want to wait the remainder of my lifetime for it.

You aren't getting any of that in the off season. I don't feel like hearing this rhetoric for the next nine months. comment on what they're doing not what they can't do right now

You aren't getting swift actions equating to wins in January for a team that didn't make the playoffs

Let's wait a while and then do something. That always works better. They aren't doing anything right now, that was why I commented on all that they're doing right now. You did say you didn't know what more I wanted so I let you know. That's your fault if you didn't like the answer.

They aren't doing anything right now? Except hiring a gm through an intelligent process for once and hiring an advisor to the president with a proven track record

It's like two days, on a weekend, when he probably wants to talk to the current head coach before he does it. Could you be any more of a woman about this? Things don't happen at the speed of light in the off season, this your first one?

They would never have a Sunday presser during the playoffs for this.

Things don't happen at the speed of light in the off season, this your first one? You're the one who is whining. Generally if somebody is hired they have a presser. (No matter what time of year it is) Now I understand it was late on Friday when they worked out the details. I still wanted to hear something. Boo hoo if you think wanting too much. Waiting until Monday or Tuesday to get introduced is dumb. Especially with the speed of information these days. Instead of hearing reports on rumors from unnamed former and new colleagues i'd just like to hear it from him.
