@tomvh: RB Damien Harris on Jim Harbaugh "You have your Jim Harbaugh, Urban Meyer and Nick Saban, it's hard to say no, but I'd respectfully decline" #crootin That means he is a heavy lean to play for Stoops at Kentucky.

Snoop's kid is a 4 Star out of California, and has said he wants to come to Michigan. There is ZERO chance he goes anywhere but USC, snoop would shoot him.

article from tomvH insider article about recruits reaction of Harbaugh's hiring:
When reports surfaced that Michigan would hire Jim Harbaugh as its new coach, the reactions from recruits rolled in on social media. The Harbaugh name resonates nationally and the coach has established himself as a winner, so prospects from all over are excited about the potential at Michigan.
With the uncertainty surrounding the program under former coach Brady Hoke, many prospects had dropped the Wolverines or lowered them on their lists. In-state offensive lineman Thiyo Lukusa was one of those prospects, but once he heard Harbaugh would be joining Michigan, Lukusa took to Twitter to show his feelings.
Lukusa wasn’t the only 2016 prospect to express interest in the Wolverines via social media. Running back Kareem Walker, the nation's No. 5-ranked junior running back also tweeted his opinion on the situation.
Walker had interest in the Wolverines before, but now with Harbaugh as the coach, that interest increases.
“I feel like he will become the difference at Michigan and will be able to get more recruits and more wins. I know with having a coach that just left the NFL level, he’ll make sure I’m ready as far as expecting more out of me as a man or player,” Walker said. “I definitely would like to talk to him to get a feel for him and hear what his plan is moving forward.”
Because of Hoke’s firing, a few Michigan recruits started looking around to explore different options, including athlete Brian Cole. The ESPN 300 prospect has stayed committed throughout the entire ordeal, but he did take a few official visits and flirted with other schools.
Cole says he is 100 percent committed to Michigan with Harbaugh on board and still plans to enroll early.
The recruiting calendar is currently in a dead period, so the coaches won’t be able to do in-home visits with the prospects and the recruits won’t be able to visit campus until Jan. 15.
That will give the new staff time to make phone calls, though, and try to set up visits for when the dead period is over.
Defensive back Iman Marshall, the nation's No. 7-ranked prospect in the 2015 class, said he had interest in Michigan before the season started. Once the season went along, Michigan was losing and rumors that Hoke would be fired surfaced, Marshall dropped Michigan and focused on other schools.
He now says Harbaugh will have his interest and there is a good chance he will take an official visit to Ann Arbor.
“It will help (Michigan). I wouldn’t say they would jump up any lists, because I still have to see what Michigan has to offer me as a person and as a player,” Marshall said. “I feel like it’s equally distributed right now. Once I start to see the campus and see what it’s about, I feel like I’ll know more about my interest. It helps as a player to know somebody that’s touched both the league as well as college football, though.”
Not every prospect will be interested in the Wolverines, obviously, and it's getting late in the recruiting process for the 2015 class. While most of the recruits feel as though it is a home-run hire for Michigan, some say the hire still won’t impact their recruitment.
Offensive lineman Brian Chaffin is a Stanford commit, so one could naturally wonder whether Harbaugh’s time at Stanford would interest this type of prospect. Chaffin says that’s not the case, however, and he is firmly set with the Cardinal.
“I would say I appreciate his interest, but what Stanford has going on right now is better than anybody in the country in terms of athletics and academics. I love Coach (David) Shaw and his staff, so I’m firm in my commitment,” Chaffin said. “I think a lot of people are considering Stanford because of the staff and combination of athletics and academics, but a lot of those guys being recruited by Stanford now didn’t know Coach Harbaugh. I think it will help Michigan overall, but not likely with many Stanford recruits.”
Michigan lost eight ESPN 300 commitments along the way this fall, so it’s also only natural to think some might want to get back in the mix. A lot have already committed to other schools, including Mike Weber to Ohio State, Shaun Crawford to Notre Dame, Garrett Taylor to Penn State, George Campbell to Florida State and Darrin Kirkland to Tennessee.
When asked if he would be interested if Harbaugh came calling, Crawford said he would likely politely listen to the Michigan coaches but doesn’t believe he would flip back from Notre Dame. Campbell was emphatic about his lack of interest and said the question doesn’t even need to be asked.
Weber said via text that he hasn’t personally heard from Harbaugh, but he was told Harbaugh had reached out to his parents. The in-state prospect will likely be a priority for Harbaugh to get back in the class, but Weber says he is committed to the Buckeyes for now.
“That’s big to get recruited from a guy who has success written all over him,” Weber said. “But I committed to the Buckeyes for a reason and I’m pretty solid right now.”
Harbaugh could see that as a challenge, so the scenario could get interesting as signing day gets closer.
While ESPN 300 quarterback Blake Barnett is firmly committed to Alabama and enrolling early with the Crimson Tide, he did offer up a perspective from elite national prospects on what Harbaugh might be able to do in the few weeks he has left until signing day.
“I think it will have a huge impact. Michigan hasn’t been doing as well as their tradition says, but I think it’s a great school and I think if they get a coach like Coach Harbaugh then it would change a lot of recruit’s minds and have kids check them out,” Barnett said. “I think they’d have enough kids to change their minds and at least go see them as fast as they can and go see the program now that he’s there.”

Yes, one phone call a week, but unlimited texts and such. Clark is likely to recommit, Weber maybe. I do think they flip a couple though, end up with 10-12 which is fine.

He needs to restore discipline, toughness, to this team. Enough soft shit. I don't care if he walks in the shady side, bring this place were it needs to be. Fight back, and make this conference a real war. I don't care about record right now, nor B1G title games. Make people understand that when you play Michigan, win or lose, you are going to get hurt. It will be brought.

I don't know recruiting very well, but I was told, a kid by the name Iman Marshall is going to visit UofM because Harbaugh was hired. The person said he was a very good player. Maybe one of you guys who know recruiting, could let us know about him? I do not belong to any recruiting sites.

Maybe one of you guys who know recruiting, could let us know about him? I do not belong to any recruiting sites. He was mentioned a few times on the first page of this thread, but without the dedicated player threads I understand that it's easy to miss stuff. He's ranked no lower than 11th overall on any of the four main recruiting services, and he's generally considered the best cornerback in the 2015 class. At 6'1, 200 he has terrific size for the position, and would be ideal matching up against taller receivers. I actually think he looks more like a safety, but who knows. He'd certainly be an asset for Michigan. With Tim Drevno now signed on to be Michigan's offensive coordinator, there's a chance Michigan could poach the two USC commits he landed this year: 3-star Center Cole Smith, and 3-star Tackle Clayton Johnson. Drevno was also the primary recruiter for 4-star Cornerback Frank Buncom IV, ans he was also targeting Tackle Andre James, Guard Semisi Uluave, and Tackle Darrin Paulo.

ville resident and Wisconsin commit, David Moorman, might consider Michigan www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/2015/01/11/wisconsin-commit-moorman-listen-ums-harbaugh/21602281/Detroit News Dream Team offensive tackle David Moorman of Northville said he is still committed to Wisconsin, but would definitely listen if Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh came calling. Moorman, a physical 6-foot-5, 290-pound force, accepted an offer from then-Wisconsin coach Gary Andersen during his junior year, but was shocked by the news last month that Andersen was leaving for Oregon State. "I'm still 100-percent committed to Wisconsin, but I'm keeping all options open until Signing Day," said Moorman, ranked a four-star recruit by Scout.com and a three-star prospect by Rivals.com. "If Michigan comes calling I'll definitely listen. (Michigan incoming recruit) Alex Malzone keeps calling and texting me, saying I need to come to Michigan.

Not that Im a talent evaluator or anything close..But I saw Nville play this year and I knew who he was so I watched him...He was OK, but I did not get the hype...With that said, a committed lineman to Wisky I trust their evaluations.
