I know it probably doesn't really mean anything but with T Bay clamping down on the Habs & pulling into a tie with them, the Wings sure could make the division race interesting down the stretch if they pull out W's in the 3 games in hand they'll have & these coming games in Florida would be great place to get started.

Last year they traded a good young player and a draft pick for Legwand for the sole purpose of making the playoffs again. For a team that is so careful with their young players it makes no sense. |

I didnt like the Legwand trade and I know time will tell but Calle Järnkrok did next to nothing this year and at 5-11 and barely 160 lbs he is going to get knocked around if he doesnt bulk up. Maybe the Wings knew what they were doing when they traded him. We all wanted the young guys to play this year and they are but the team seems to have hit a wall |

W against the Canes + an OTT loss tmrw locks up the playoffs for us, lets get the 3rd spot in the Atlantic so we have a shot against the Lightning |

21 years old and playing pretty well on a team going nowhere. Should be a building block defenseman.
