Can Suh Appeal thus suspension? Yes he can and yes he did. I'm sure it will be expedited like Raiola's was to ensure he can't play this weekend. NFL Now or whatever said it would be heard by Derrick Brooks or Ted Cottrell.

This Lions team is out of control, we have two thug players (Dominic Raiola and Ndamukong Suh) who enjoy stepping on people, inflecting pain and getting suspended from the biggest games of their careers. I’d get rid of both players immediately. And let’s not forget about the quarterback (Matthew Stafford), who if it wasn’t for the law of gravity couldn’t hit the ground. It’s time for coach Caldwell to stop this nonsense and get control of his team, otherwise he can pack his bags too. Even mentioning firing Caldwell is quite silly. In his first season, he led them to the 2nd most wins in team history. He has PLENTY of leeway right now IMO.This right here. I think without Suh's $$ on the salary cap they can make a lot of improvements in the offseason. Need to trade calvin for all the draft picks you can get, and draft like crazy this year. It wouldn't hurt the team that much, he's hurt so often and misses games.

I'm so pissed at Suh. But Wojo has a great point about his suspension. Thats really harsh to suspend for a playoff game, and he equates one playoff game to three regular season games.
Just fine the shit out of him, but let him play.

If the nfl was smart they would have suspended him for the first four games next season because it would have hit him double in his pocket, the missing game checks and a likely lesser amount in free agency for a guy who is going to have to sit 4 games and could be one more asshole move from missing a season

According to Mike Preira, the referee sent a text to the league office saying he watched the entire incident in real time and saw no intent. It's dumbass slow motion replay that ruins everything.

It started playing for a second then cut over to a Jay Electronica song. I get it from the title though.

It worked. The thing that many are failing to mention is Suh's history. Anyone else and I don't think they are suspended.

Listening to a little NFL Radio this morning and they were saying that failing to put in the official suspension notice anything about his past history opens it up to be overturned. Cottrell is also the one that overturned the Ed Reed suspension. I am hoping that Suh's suspension gets reversed, but I am not optimistic.

If Suh was smart, he would have turned around to Rodgers and offered his hand. Guys do this all the time in sports, they are dirty-cheap shot artists, but then they ham it up when the camera is on. Almost like Isiah Thomas was, he could be dirty and scrappy, but then he'd flash that smile and grin.
Just being a little bit conciliatory, could have gone a long way in the NFL and public perception.

The problem with all of the replays is that they only show what happened from the waist down. If you zoom out you will see that TJ Lang has a hold of Suh's jersey and is pushing and pulling on him. That makes Suh's "argument" a little more valid.

All that points to him knowing exactly what he was doing. He did know. It was very intentional. It's amazing to see where some of these ex players find work. Merton Hanks suspended him and his appeal will be heard by Derrick Brooks or Ted Cottrell. My dad knows Ted Cottrell. I'll see if there is anything he can do.

Just like when he had to be carted off right before the half grinning at the scoreboard only to return in the third quarter to MVP chants. If he didn't have that locked up going into Sundays game I bet he does now.
