WOW!! The amount of $$$ Man City spent on Raheem Sterling is staggering. In my opinion he will be very hard pressed to produce the way MC wants him to. He has talent just not worth that amount of money. Unfortunately Rodgers has not proven he can not buy quality with no matter how much he is given. We will talk in August and see where the team's stack up with the new transfers.

Adidas have real good running shoes, I switched between them and Brooks. Their football design I am indifferent about. Never been a Nike fan and UA shoes are terrible. Also UA football design seem a little over the top to me, but then I am not a high school kid.

Gerrard to the Galaxy......? The MLS should start get more aging stars from the bigger leagues. Not to old of course, but it would help them up the talent level and draw bigger crowds. I was watching Liverpool today and I believe someone like Rickie Lambert would help a team in the MLS. Also pretty sure many would want to come here to play a couple seasons

I agree with some of you who believe Babcock is not going Toronto. It is my opinion neither parity have interest in one another. Because Babcock & the Leafs both know there to far away from contenders for the cup. Hell they would be lucky to make the playoffs in a couple yeas. So the mutual interest would not be there..I believe it will be a team who has not fired their coach yet and they made the playoffs this year, but they want to take the next step towards the cup.
Do any of you believe the Wings really want Babcock back? I am starting to question that narrative. At first I thought the Wings really wanted him back, but why would they let him test the market? Babcock & Holland are having a starring contest & we will see who blinks first

I say unfortunately because Babcock has been a good coach and the team has performed well for the most part of his time here. I will look forward to see new talent here and what type of coach they do get to replace him.

This team has surprised me with their early start. Miggy alone his batting average is almost 200 points better then last year at this time and the pitching has been amazing. The hitters have been great and the defense has been fantastic. The only concern is Verlander's arm woes. If this lingers he will become a major problem, but hopefully he will get healthy and contribute this season.

Unfortunately I believe he will be elsewhere next season. He has been here 10 years and won a cup, so I wish him well. This team needs better talent, if it wants to win another cup. The defense is poor and their 2 best players are close to retirement. They have a couple good young forwards that will form a good nucleus for the future and their goalies are solid. Holland needs to upgrade this team and find a new coach who can put it together. Next season will be interesting to see who comes back and who leaves.

Watching the game, I came away with the opinion a lot of you have. The offense is not going to be great and the defense will be the strength of the team. The one player I feel is going to have a breakout year is DE Lawrence Marshall. Yes he went against a poor OL, but he has the makings of a top notch DE. Hopefully he will continue to get better, because they need an outside terror.

Liverpool has had a very difficult season. As I have said before the players they sign with Suarez money have played horrible. From Lovren, Moreno, Lambert, to Balotelli who have been absolute failures. Others who contributed some, but have had disappointing season: Lallana (injures), to Markovic who started out well, but the last 8 games has disappeared. The last one Javi Manquillo who would be labeled failure, but Rodgers changed his system (again) that doesn't fit the player strengths. Emre Can has had a solid season, except for some moments of losing his composure. The transfer committee of Rodgers and Ian Ayre are terrible, because neither man has proven to be very good at acquiring or evaluation of players. As for Rodgers staying as coach, I am torn. While he has done some great things, a lot of his decisions have been poor. Very frustrating to be "Merseysiders" this year.

Chris I agree, 2016 should be a good year once these coaches develop relationships with these kids. 2016 will also be very important for the Harbaugh regime. Even though UofM didn't have a great recruiting year I believe Harbaugh has done a very good job with the time he has. Also I find these recruiting "experts" miss the mark on most of these kids. Yes the more 5 & 4 star kids you recruit the better off your program will be, but the coach still has to elevate these high school kids into top college players.

Bulldog, I agree with you on NBC. When they first put in that monsterous bid , I thought no way are they going to have a good production. They.proved me wrong. The only thing I miss from FOX was they would have SKY sports from London on and that was great. SKY would cover the EPL and the transfer market like no other. Otherwise NBC announcers are better and their coverage of game day is excellent. Wonder how big of a contract they will offer this time? If the could land either the Spanish or Italian super leagues also, that would be great.

From what the "experts" are saying, UofM will miss out on their top 2 picks left on the board. Iman Marshall (uSC) and Roquan Smith (UGA) respectively. Which is to bad, but the Harbaugh crew got a late start & lost out to the hometown teams. So hopefully they will add a couple of more kids, just will not be the star power,. Maybe they will land Wheatley Jr. and the TE Clark, good chance on both. That is the most I have ever said on recruiting & probably the last.

A friend of mine from work son goes to Cass Tech, & a huge UofM fan. It is his son's belief, Weber is sticking with o$u. Hopefully Harbaugh can pull some kids away from other programs, even though he had a very late start.

In the EPL you never know what you are going to get from week to week. Southampton must of made a deal with the devil. In the off-season you sell most of your best players and your coach leaves for another team, but you are in the top 4. Man U spends a fortune on new players and coach, they have trouble keeping a sustainable attack. Liverpool receives a fortune for one player and squanders it all on players that didn't fit the system quite right. Arsenal, & Tottenham all look great one week, next look like dogs. Chelsea & Man City will be the only teams with a chance at title in the end. All these teams will provide theater and saga, in the on going "soap opera" known as the EPL.

Looking foward to what hardballs can do to pull in some of that southern talent Harbaugh's reputation will open a lot more doors and I am also excited about the possibilities. Durkin is supposedly a super recruiter, who has a good track record in the south.

Not a fan of Manning, but happy Mattison is sticking around. He still a good coach. To me Fred Jackson is the team's "uncle Buck". A great guy to have around, but you wouldn't want him coaching anybody. Hopefully Wheatley takes the job and Jackson can be the greater at Schembechler hall.

Hold on there ATD, the SEC has been whipped pretty good this bowl season. But the overall conference is still strong and will be strong for years to come. Now why will they be strong? Because they have some of the top talent right in their backyard. Their high schools have some of the best programs in the nation and the SEC universites are willing to spend big money. Michigan has finally understood this, while O$U has gotten the message for a while. Now UofM or MSU doesn't have the top talent in their backyard, they will have to go outside of the state to get most of their best players. The mid-west talent base is not as strong as the southeast region. So the SEC will be fine next year and for the years to come.

Imo, I still give Chip Kelly a Lions share of the credit for what's going on at Oregon today. Do you agree or disagree? Kelly put the blueprint in place for the Ducks. So I agree in principle but you have to give Helfrich a lot of credit. The Ducks are flying high, because of his ability to put a very good team together.

Congratulations to MSU, a great comeback. The B10 look great today, other then Minnesota. Although I still will not root for O$U. Roll Tide, then I hope the Ducks trash BaMa.

I don't know recruiting very well, but I was told, a kid by the name Iman Marshall is going to visit UofM because Harbaugh was hired. The person said he was a very good player. Maybe one of you guys who know recruiting, could let us know about him? I do not belong to any recruiting sites.

I have 100 percent confidence in harbaugh hiring great coaches. Not worried at all. Strange feeling. Harbaugh is UofM's All-State, their in good hands. Complete difference from the Hoke or RR's regimes.

Not sure on this new OC, but both him & Morton have NFL experience. Also both come from the west coast and they can handle California recruiting. Jimmy H is already clicking into lighting speed with revamping this team. He is going to make these kids head spin. Also poor Rich Rod team is getting run over by Boise State. Why did Harbugh go to Michigan: www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/12/31/7471193/why-jim-harbaugh-left-nfl-michigan

On either speech he made today, I wouldn't say was Rah-Rah or bombastic in tone. I would say enthusiastic and just very happy to be here. he knows he has a lot of work to do. Even though he said nice things about Hoke, he has to know this team needs coaching. Someone on BTN said the only teams that had more talent then UofM this season were O$U & MSU. That is so telling about how bad the coaching has been. I'm guessing from BTN that they meant only within the B16 and not nationally. My bad. I should of said the teams on their schedule that they played.
