This news conference should be epic. Does anyone know if it will be streaming live & where? Sure glad I have this week off. Now I hope for mgobluegirl sake Harbaugh shows up at halftime of the B-ball game and gives one hell of a speech. Enjoy the game!! It will almost certainly be streaming on all the local news sites. It may actually even be covered live. I'm sure BTN will cover it live, and you'll probably also be able to stream it on mgoblue.com Thank you Chris. Next week we will have to talk about recruiting and the Harbaugh factor.

I can't speak to the U, but Oklahoma certainly got the "O" part right. This is a prison rape. 21 completed passes for 38 yards. Sheesh. Oklahoma got Orange :chairCrushed. Stoops called his agent and said he will take the UofM job, to late Bobby boy. That train left the station, as did your team.

If the Tigers keep Scherzer do they trade Price for a couple very good relievers? I believe they need to do this for a shot at the World Series, because the bullpen needs serious upgrades and that is their best option. If they lose Scherzer & do not upgrade the bullpen they will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Is Desmond hoping for something or actually knows something, its a weird report. Its not like the Bears job was not rumored to be open and this is some kind of game changer. I've heard from multiple people and I believe somebody posted a link last week. The McCaskeys have the money but they are to cheap to pay him. I think it's all smokescreens at this point. The McCaskeys are cheap and have not been willing to pay for a top coach. So I believe this report to be absolutely BS. Also can I say, I am so glad UofM got Harbaugh and not Bob Stoops? Oklahoma looks like garbage tonight against Clemson & Stoops has no answers.

As I said I did not look at any rumors or blogs until after Christmas. Today was the day and oh my the stuff out there is crazy. Especially the reported contract, just amazing to say the least. Already mgoblog has it as a done deal and speculating on assistant coaches (http://mgoblog.com/content/searchbits-xxx-thats-what-my-jug-says-too). I am going to look at more tonight. We will speculate more tomorrow.

Liverpool has looked better. Sterling will look a lot better when Sturridge comes back. Rodgers keeps showing Balotelli to much love. The man should be on the next bus out of town, but Rodgers is sticking with his over priced purchase. Maybe to his demise at the end of the season. Rumors are still persistent that the American owners would like to get rid of him and replace him with Ajax boss Frank de Boer.
Sorry Fraze rumors are consistent about Bale coming back with either Man U or Chelsea as the likely place. The papers already have RM shopping for his replacement. With Marco Reus of Dortmund as their top choice. Although as I have always said the sports pages over there are always ready to run with any rumor that is being whispered. They never check the facts, just the sensational headlines that will help them sell papers.

When was the last time an NFL team traded it's coach? Especially with only 1 year left on the contract. Coaches are fired in this league all the time, rarely are they traded. Besides Harbaugh and his agent have the power in his situation, not Frisco.

Lallana supposedly has had 2 broken ribs. That's why on limited playing time, but that is from one of the sport's tabloid in London. So makes sense, but those papers are not known for their integrity. More coming on the goalie situation later, which might have become the Reds biggest problem.

My only worry about the Harbaugh saga is Frisco could play the jilted lover roll. They may hate him, but they don.t want him to go to the team he wants to coach. Whether that is UM or not. Because I can't believe he would want to coach the dysfunctional Raiders, the only organization worse is the JETS.

3-0 score was horrible for Liverpool, but they passed & moved the ball better then they have all season. At least there was some sort of sustainable attack, but their finishing is dreadful. The mid-field looked better, Countinho & Lallana were moving the ball creating chances. Unfortunately Allen(small & slow), Henderson(looks lost), and Gerrard(sad) are all dead weight. Henderson is still a good athlete, so he could be salvageable. Allen has never been an good EPL player, he is slow and gets taken off the ball way to easily. Gerrard has been a great player and still good at free kicks, but that is it. Father-time has robbed him of the rest of his skills. Please do not get me started on the "so-called" strikers, we know where I stand. There is big rumors about Simon Mignolet & Rodgers having a big fallout. Over what?? I don't know for sure. Has Rodgers lost the locker-room? The tabloids over there are going to have a field day.

Dog & Fraze, while I agree with Rodgers is a solid coach, some of his moves have been poor. Lallana needs to play a lot more, right now he is their best mid-fielder. Striker we have a huge problem. Sturridge when healthy is a very good talent, but he will need a running mate. The ones that Rodgers put on the roster do not and will not be sufficient. Rodgers spent a lot of money and the results are poor. I don't believe they will sack (fire) this year, but he has to have better results.

Fraze, it looks like the Spurs & the Reds will not break any records in scoring this season. Reds have problems all over the field. Without Sturridge and Suarez the rest of the lineup looks like a bunch of misfits. Steven Gerard has been a great player, but he has lost a step and in this league you can become liability very quickly. Both of these teams need to make changes. Spurs a couple of tweaks, but Reds need help all over. While Rodgers is a good coach, ihe doesn't look to be the best man at talent acquisition. Going to be a long season.

Now the rumor mill is going to really crank up. Frisco loses to the hapless Raiders 24 to 13. Get ready for crazy rumors and everyone with a computer to say they have a source.

While watching football, I have been surfing for rumors. The wildest one was Sean Payton of the Saints has interest in UofM HC position. I understand reporters have responsibilities and columns to write, but some of the bs has no substance.

Hold on guys, this report is from Ian Rapport. He throws more BS out there then the average rumor monger. I have said I do believe Harbaugh will stay, but Rapport didn't get this from Harbaugh. The word is Jim talks to no one except his closest advisers and they don't talk either.

The last 2 coaching searches have been very disappointing. With Rich Rod I was surprised, but optimistic. With Hoke I was disappointed and mad they couldn't get more a high profile coach. If they can't get one of the Harbaugh's or at least a very good coach, then I see Michigan becoming a 2nd tier program for a long time.
