I think Stafford is better too. I was trying to get Eruff to admit that! I think eruff just wants to troll.

Do you think Stafford is better than Dak Prescott? Is that a fair comparison? They are two different teams. The QB is only as good as the talent around the. Tom Brady wouldn't have any rings if he played in Detroit. Or Miami. Or Buffalo. See i.e Fran Tarkenton, Jim Kelly and Dan Marino. That’s true that it’s not a fair comparison based on those factors but I can confidently say Stafford is more talented. QB Wins isn’t a stat though.

This is a different team. Different team? Cardinals, Eagles, Chargers and the Chiefs.... Explain this after 12 games..... I don’t know where your getting the figure of 12 for games but if you’re watching this team on Sundays and you can’t tell that something is different then I don’t know what to tell you. You’ve always come on here over the years eluding to this football knowledge you have. If your argument entails any type of SOL logic then you haven’t been watching or don’t understand football the way you’ve always claimed. This team has a lot to work on and clean up but they’re close. If they can put a stop to the mistakes, penalties, and turnovers they’re going to go a long way. This team is a lot more talented than they’re given credit for. The offense has been a breath of fresh air and seems to be tailored to their strengths. The defense has been bending but not breaking. My concerns on defense are of course health but also conditioning. They seem to get gassed very easily. If you want to torture yourself with pessimism go right ahead. Some fans will never be satisfied. And if you haven’t realized that Stafford isn’t going anywhere until he’s ready to move on then you’re dumber than I thought. He’s going to call his own shot when it’s time to hang them up.

Is anyone else pleased that the Lions are 2-1-1? I am, and it is a weird feeling. This is a different team.

Western at MSU Army at UM Cincinnati at OSU. I'm not going to put these three on upset alert, but I am thinking 2 out of the 3 may get ugly wins. Was UM one of them because...

This is a rumor, but it certainly would explain a lot about the Andrew Luck retirement fiasco... Seems legit.

It’s shitty what Colts fans did to Andrew Luck. Unfortunately I can’t say Lions fans wouldn’t have done the same here because they have. Did you see the story about the Jags long snapper offering to buy out Indy season ticket holders and donate the Tix to the children's hospital? Cool story. Class move. I did and that’s awesome!

It was a tough watch. Our depth isn’t very strong. Too soon.😃 True. NE probably has the best depth in the league. This week the Lions are coming to your neck of the woods.

Loving the Buddy's Pizza right around the corner from my house. Not loving that it's $40 for a pizza and a salad. That seems a little steep. Even for Buddy’s.

Just muddling through this abomination of a baseball season and waiting for football. Life’s going good. You? We've seen a lot of bad baseball seasons in Detroit. Where does this season rank on the all-time worst list? Without going back and looking up stats and records this rebuild feels a lot worse than the one in the 2000’s.

Even if I liked it at the time I wouldn’t after the press conference. He didn’t seem to know his direction which is something most people would need to produce in an interview to get the job. Sounds like it was a homer hire and I’m concerned it will be a disaster. He has no head coaching experience. Michigan needs to quit doing this shit. Warde looks and sounds like a buffoon. They were going to take a step backwards this year, with or without John Beilein. So I hope you and others will give it a couple of years to see. There’s a step back and then there’s a disaster. Time will tell.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Juwan Howard hire, didn't hate it....just didn't love it. But it's hard to argue he will not work hard and not find success when you see how much passion he has for his dream job. Even if I liked it at the time I wouldn’t after the press conference. He didn’t seem to know his direction which is something most people would need to produce in an interview to get the job. Sounds like it was a homer hire and I’m concerned it will be a disaster. Reports on MgoBlog, 247, have Michigan hiring Juwan Howard as the next head basketball coach. So underwhelming.

It was shocking but then I remembered how much attention he got over the Pistons job. Maybe he’s been looking to get out. 🤷🏻♂️ Izzo got a look at the Cavs job a few years ago, if memory serves, but stayed put. I guess it's a step up, but with the job he's done, he was headed for Coach K, Izzo, etc. cannonization in Ann Arbor. Best of luck to him with Cleveland. They’re going to be pretty young there so maybe it’ll be a smooth transition.

That's a shocker. Who takes the UMich job? Beilein really did a great job with that program. It was shocking but then I remembered how much attention he got over the Pistons job. Maybe he’s been looking to get out. 🤷🏻♂️

I was devastated after that pick. I just wanted to turn off my tv. I’m definitely more of an offense guy but there were two or three defensive studs taken right after that pick. I kept thinking: which one of these studs are we going to get? Ware is probably going to be a HOF and while Merriman flamed out after a while he would have had decent years here. Derrick Johnston was the other one. It sounded like Ware was supposed to be the Lions pick. They made it sound like the war room had all settled on Ware, and Millen had a last minute/second change of heart (no pun intended). Most of the room was shocked by his pick. They played an excerpt of Steve Mariucci's interview right after that pick, and he looked a little shaken and bothered by it. When these things come out it’s no surprise things were so bad here.
