My brother is saying it too. He lives in Chicago but is a twitter fanatic. Lions app twitter says no such thing. With the talent at DT still on the board i hope Mayhew isn't that silly

How would they know two picks before the Lions are in the clock?

There you go, it's official now.
Fire Mayhew. Malcom Brown sitting there, and you just got a guard in the trade.
So sick of this shit.

This is the Saints model on Offensive line. Big in the Middle of the Offensive line to cover your tackles and give the QB room to step up in the pocket

Best pure guard in the draft per Kiper.

How would they know two picks before the Lions are in the clock? Just because the TV doesn't show a team on the clock does not mean that the selection isn't already in. The same thing happened last year when the broadcast was 5 picks behind the cards being turned in.

You know it's not a good draft pick, when all you hear about is his grades, intelligence and charity.
Its like saying a fat chick has great personality.

Now we're stacked on the Oline. Too bad we're still thin on the Dline. They must love this guy they signed away from the Saints.

This is the Saints model on Offensive line. Big in the Middle of the Offensive line to cover your tackles and give the QB room to step up in the pocket well, at least they're going in that direction, as opposed to the other theory where you get undersized interior linemen who can't block and never get any push to give your qb/rb some room. o_O

The same thing happened last year when the broadcast was 5 picks behind the cards being turned in. I know there's a broadcast delay. I figured it was seconds and not 10-15 minutes. It isn't a broadcast delay. The way it worked goes like this: Once a team turns in their card, the 31 other teams are notified and the next team goes on the clock right away. ESPN and NFL Network are notified of the pick so they can have the video reel ready. Once the networks are ready the Commish goes out to announce the pick. Make sense?
