The Attorney General isn't going to do shit. He's too busy running for governor and acting like he's the chosen one. I echo your thoughts....

Simon didn't handle this tragedy well at all. This was on her watch, also Hollis the AD and the gymnastics coach are very culpable in this crime. Both should resign with her and the NCAA should investigate who knew about this and how long. I feel so very badly for the young ladies who had to endure this foul creature. Hopefully MSU sets up a fund and assistance to help these girls get through this. On a sports note, Stephen A. Smith is reporting Dan Gilbert wants to sell the Cavilers. I'm glad she chose those words, because it highlights the attitude of the people in charge of incidents like this. Public pressure will only go as far as firing people in key positions. Sad part is that because he resigned she may get every penny of her compensation package.
Fuck Dan Gilbert the bastard I'm glad he's being took to the cleaners...

PSU should have been given the death penalty. It is the only way to try and prevent more of this stuff from happening. Damn good point about Baylor. I still disagree about this and always will. A punishment should only be handed down to those directly responsible, a death sentence for the University punishes far more than those who had anything to do with it Hmmm, like the PSU scandal? A few got punished and the school went on with slaps on the wrist and it's a wonder why scandals like the MSU debacle will keep happening.

PSU, Baylor, and MSU has shown you that there is no protection on these college grounds. PSU football got a slap on the wrist while the victims barely got paid. Now when PSU football is mentioned the victims are long forgotten. Nassar will go to jail while all that were involved at MSU will go unchecked.
Baylor is a damn Christian Baptist school how ironic....
These things don't happen without other people in positions of authority knowing about it. That comes on the list right below these things repeatedly being allowed to happen to minors. Somebody knew and looked the other way or somebody knew and signed off on it. Your telling me that three female doctors at the COM knew about this and signed off on it as necessary or SOP? I could see men looking the other way unfortunately but women? Damn shame man....

This is happening every where it's only news because it happened on a college institution. There isn't any protection for children in this country at all and that's why it will continue for years to come. That is the saddest part, that this type of behavior is almost becoming common. I didn't even think it was allowed, for a doctor to exam a minor without a parent/guardian or nurse in the room. PSU, Baylor, and MSU has shown you that there is no protection on these college grounds. PSU football got a slap on the wrist while the victims barely got paid. Her and Hollis hired a coach that consistently beats Michigan. Enabling a child rapist is acceptable behavior. I was watching the video of the victims testimony and he (Larry) kept looking down and scribbling on a piece of paper. im assuming that's the note he was writing for the judge. I have a 2yo daughter and this makes me want to kill this guy. 140 victims and MSU knew nothing???? ok This is happening every where it's only news because it happened on a college institution. Wilks will stop getting interest because he's turning down jobs? Job's that's only already filled with the gentlemen's hand shake. The only reason why the Rooney exist is to prevent the blind discrimination from those same billionaire owners you speak about.
The sad part is that the only position mentioned is head coach. The casual fan some how always forget about the position assistants that are left in there position for years ( ex-players as well). My grandfather always told me. "You can play every position on the field (OL,LB,RB,DB,S,DE,TE, or WR), but QB and Head coach will always be out of question and till this day in the NFL that quote still remain true.
College Football is even more disgusting....
Are you implying your grandfather said those things because your black? If so are you saying there are no black QB's or that you weren't allowed to be one? Where is he interviewing where there wasn't one?
My grandfather said those things because that's how the NFL was ran and operated then and now. There are tons of books that shares the same views about the discrimination within the NFL. It's always been that way and it will never change. That's exact reason why the Rooney rule came about.

JBC makes the offense simple for Stafford. Only a 1st year HC or a HD not worth a grain of salt will take a job knowing that he has to take an hammy down OC that wasn't his choice. I just can't wait to hear these same fans tone of voice after the next coach go 7-9 in his first season. If they go 7-9 I'll be pissed. That doesn't change the fact that Caldwell needed to go. So does that mean we can hold you for 11 wins this coming season?

Wilks is turning down interviews. If he's not careful he'll stop getting interest. These old white billionaire owners already hate having the Rooney rule so if he keeps making it an issue that he's only getting interviews to 'check a box' then he'll get labeled and blacklisted. Sounds to me like he just has a shitty attitude. Austin was smart and got hired in Cinci and then spoke out. Is Austin the new succession plan in Cinci? They wanted it to be Hue Jackson but he left and I doubt they're handing the keys over to Lazor. Remember when Lazor snubbed us? I'm glad he did. Cinci offense is worse than ours. Wilks will stop getting interest because he's turning down jobs? Job's that's only already filled with the gentlemen's hand shake. Quinn is a dummy if he's selling JBC with the job. I am concerned about that too. I wonder how much that is Matthew Stafford's demand? JBC makes the offense simple for Stafford. First, I would like to say fuck that bum ass Jim Harbaugh I would say I told you so, but we don't need to do that. To be honest I knew this guy was an overrated clown that fell into a great spot in San Francisco. That being said where are all the Jim Harbaugh ball kissing minions at? Shouldn't he be held to the same standards as Jim Caldwell? Harbaugh should've been fired today, but it won't happen because UM brass are just ass clueless as the head coach. Harbaugh doesn't answer to anyone and Michigan doesn't have anywhere else to go. So he'll be there unless he wants to leave. They won't ever fire him. As I said before a front office full of fools....

The honeymoon officially ended on January 1, 2018. I have agreed in the past that Harbaugh would leave on his own and never be fired. But if he keeps losing to MSU and OSU and embarrassing them in the bowls, they may have no other choice. That was a long honeymoon. The guy has done nothing in college football to warrant any kind of untouchable contract. He's not on the same page as Meyer or Saban. He's a water downed version of Les Miles without the ships. I do believe he will duck out of here within the next two seasons...

Bill O'brien is a really good coach. I'd be on board with it if they could lure him away. Good coach? Watson saved him from being fired earlier in the season, but I'm guessing that went unknown from Lion fans. Considering they want a guy with 35 wins in his first four seasons gone….. Bill O'Brien a good coach. The guy is king of the 9-7 in a division that's atrocious…

Let me guess you want the failed Josh McD or the young defensive cord from the Pats? This seems to be the typical narrative among SOL fans..

I disagree. I really think the OL has been terrible under Harbaugh, but that will be overlooked because his inability to produce a decent QB. It's funny because they want us to believe these are NOT his QB's and he needs another year or so, but he gets all the credit for the multiple defensive players that went to the NFL he didn't recruit. Next year isn't going to be better.
The Lions are a mediocre team with a mediocre QB, so what do people expect out of a 7-9 win team? I'm picking them to lose to the Ravens next Sunday. Not that I have any faith in bum ass Flacco, but the Ravens defense has been great in the last couple of weeks.
Expectations for the Lions are higher whether they are a 7-9 team or not. I don't need Marvin Lewis 2.0. Caldwell can go. Not 7-9, but 7 to 9 wins is what majority of people project when talking about the Lions. Ok, Valenti Jr with the Marvin Lewis 2.0 bullshit. These false expectations you guys come up with is laughable.

I'm hoping Pep leaves for another job. He seemed clueless about Peters. He basically admitted he didn't think he could start because he was too quiet. I really don't get that given that O'Korn was shitting his pants every play. Maybe Fisch will come back. I'm assuming Chip won't keep him. The offensive line actually showed some improvement towards the end of the season. It should be decent next year if they can find a LT. I disagree. Seem like Harbaugh has done better with Hoke players, but the narrative today is "what till he gets his QB". Since when did this become an excuse? The sign he took over every player on the roster is "his" player.

You're right. They will always be the SOL until they win a Superbowl, Playoff game or Division Championship. The "bar is low", because they should be able to fall out of bed and win this division! That's asinine. #Naïve
If you don't think the bar is low you're crazy.

You're ignorant. SOL would have been kicking to take the lead and missing it or having it blocked. Or getting two holding penalties and then running the draw to try and score. Or holding on the kick you made and having it take you out of range forcing a punt. 18 red zone snaps resulting to 6 yards and that's with a QB making 28m a season. Sounds like it to me.....
