White Sox, Royals and Indians will have titles in the last 11 years and I'm sure the Tigers will have outspent them by many millions. Not so fast my friend..........................

I don't know about these other guys but you're definitely being a pussy Freddie. You guys are too shook by the last decade. MSU is terrible. You should be expecting an ass whooping at this point and be disappointed if it's not. Sure I'll be disappointed if the game doesn't end up M by a few TD's.
Let's check prior to MSU's recent domination in the rivalry:
All games in East Lansing: 2007 M wins 28-24, 2005 M wins 34-31 OT, 2003, M wins 27-20, 2001 MSU wins 26-24. You're damn right I'm wary of MSU at their place, no matter who's on their roster unless John L, Bobby Williams or Muddy Waters are patrolling the sideline.

Don't be a pussy. They're going to blow the doors off of State. I can't see MSU scoring 17 points either. I got State getting 7 points off a M turnover (short field or something to the house), 7 directly associated to a trick play. Hopefully a bust doesn't result in another 7.

I always enjoy seeing Tigers who didn't pan out here be integral part of other teams success. Just listen to a bit about how Andrew Miller has struck out 56% of the batters he faced in the playoffs and will be the key for the Indians yeah, I wince whenever I see Miller coming out of the pen now with him being so dominant....probably the Indians playoff MVP at this point. Not counting his first call-up season it was 6 seasons before he became effective.....so just one of those deals where not sure when the light will go on. Unfortunately, for Tigers....it came on BIG TIME!

At least this year they are pulling him quick if he's ineffective. He's our worst short yardage back even though he's biggest. Sad seeing our rivals lose all the time. The weird thing is he doesn't look big anymore and he actually is averaging 5.2 yds per carry. I thought EXACTLY the same thing a earlier this year. Thought of him as the big bruiser type last year! I think he's finding the holes better this year, but that's not saying much.
I think most of the backs YPC is a bit misleading, as all have busted off some big runs vs. crap D's....many in garbage time. But what the hell, I'm not gonna bitch!

For the record the Saunders cause of death has not been made public. It's true he dealt with depression big time thus the speculation of suicide. John U Bacon had collaborated with Saunders to put a book out regarding his struggles. It's also being stated that Saunders also had natural cause health issues. No matter, sad situation.
Sharpe's death of course hurts for his family & friends. Much condolences! It Sucks! Word to all you Inferno'ites. Fucking live life & savor every precious moment!!!! Don't waste time pissing & moaning about the small shit! I lost my wife out of the blue at 54 years of age from health issues! No fucking warning. Freak disease. Happy New Year one moment, enjoy your Bowl games Jan. 1 Fucker cuz your wife is going on life support Jan. 3 & you best get the affairs in order Mr. Flintoid the next. This shit happens people!

We had a corporate outing this summer at a Tiger day game the same day my wife had her outing. Her group actually had a suite. When I went up to meet her team, some lady in the group handed me a can of Ghetto Blaster. I wanted to hurl that can at Rob Parker in the press box. That beer is awful. Serve that at the Joe as well. I usually stick with the Saugatuck Singapore IPA when ordering up there.

Roadtrippin' to Odd Side Ales in Grand Haven this weekend. Love em or hate em, they produce some interesting stuff! Well the trip to Odd Side was a bit disappointing. Didn't really have anything on tap that I haven't already tried in a bottle at the local beer store. Some good beers no doubt, but was hoping for a newbie to stir up the taste buds.
But the trip delivered a real gem at the Grand Armory Brewery a couple blocks over from Odd Side. A beer called "Dewey Hill on Fire" stole the show. An Amber Ale with decent hops, flavored with Serrano & Ghost Peppers. Oh man!! Excellent amount of heat with flavor to boot! YES!!

Cubs, so their fans will stop their insufferable whining. Agreed. Then we can focus on a Lion's superbowl win. It's the next drought that will carry on for the next 100 years. fixed it for you.......

No question. 2 years ago looked like he was on the verge of being all-pro. Now.......all the way to the bank.
Of course he played next to CJ. Now youre starting to see what Seattle saw in Tate.
After the lost to the Bears I hope Stafford is traded by the deadline and the front office/coaching staff is blown up. Time to rebuild the entire roster....
Seemed like he shined when CJ was on the shelf for a bit. But no matter.....that was then, this is now.

Newsome out maybe for his career. I don't think it will have that much of an impact on this years team. There probably isn't much of difference between him and his replacement. He looked like someone that could develop into a great player though. For sure it could be a big blow going forward. Losing a Sophmore lineman who actually looks like he gets it....compared to the rest of the group who are seniors who are still shaky....Line was already gonna be inexperienced with minimum depth next year with him.

Tate seems to be getting worked out of the offense, and maybe due to an effort or attitude problem? He seems to be running bad routes frequently, not as sure handed and looks like he just doesn't care out there... I don't get it No question. 2 years ago looked like he was on the verge of being all-pro. Now.......all the way to the bank.

Glad to see Michigan win on Saturday. That definitely felt like the type of game they were going to give away. There are a ton of concerns with this team. I think #4 is too high of a ranking for them. 1. I don't think Speight is the QB for this team. 2. I don't think Deveon Smith is the best RB on this team, but somehow he gets the most carries. 3. The offensive line was not great, and now will take another step backwards with the loss of Newsome. 4. The defense looks great, however they beat a true freshman QB making his second start. UM is going to have a tougher time with more experienced QBs. 5. The kicking game- holy shit. Point #1. I think he can be good enough. Can be a 1/2 notch better than Rudock. Point #2. Totally agree. I do Like rotating the RB's, then go with the hot hand for awhile, but Smith just seems to have issues finding holes, but then again seems the other backs aren't world beaters either. Point #3. Spot On!! Point #4. No doubt the kid was not up to the task. Just want the D to not get burned with big chunk plays. Think they're verrry tough if somebody has to drive the length of the field. Point #5. Oh My!!

I'm sure everyone agrees that Speight will be under the most pressure he's seen in his short career from the Wisky defense. Do we see more quick passes in this game, bubble screens and the sorts? A little more max protect? A trick play or two to set the tone & get Wisky on their heels? Will very interested to see the offensive game plan for sure!
Or does Wisky play more coverage & try to bait Speight into becoming impatient and forcing something not really there? This should be very intriguing.

We can't start anew without this one. Post 'em if you got 'em. www.yahoo.com/news/teacher-invited-2-students-her-160800743.html"Our detectives conducted an investigation and determined that Rich had sex with a 16-year-old student in early 2015 and then had sex with an 18-year-old student in late 2015. The encounters occurred at her former home in Acworth," Baker said in a statement. So it wasn't a crime based upon their ages, they were age of consent. It was because of her position of authority. Georgia here we come??

This weekend had 2 different Oktoberfest/Marzen (German-style amber lagers) Noble Chaos from Shorts & Bloktoberfest from Atwater. The very slight nod goes Chaos, but both were very good beers. Bloktoberfest is one of Atwater's better beers and highly recommended with a giant pretzel from their Pub.
Fan of the Noble Chaos definitely!! As a rule not a fan of the Atwater beers, so maybe I should check out the Bloktoberfest.

You guys are probably right about Miles going espn, but eruff might not be to far off. You go to a program in ACC or PAC12 and resurrect one of the programs. You be paid great and have a ton of power. Miles 28-21 at Okie State before riding into Saban-stocked LSU. 8 regular season wins the past 2 years before this years disappointing 2 losses already in talent rich Louisiana. Can he really "resurrect" a losing program.
