Just be glad you didn't pay money and waste an evening out there, like I did last night. It was a weird game. UM was up big right out of the gate. It was like they just came out and slept-walked through the second half. Va Tech hung around just close enough, and then all of a sudden they had the lead with about a minute left in the game. Oddly enough (I said this team was garbage after going to the Howard game), they actually seem to have some players. Wagner, DJ Wilson, Abdul-Rakman all seem like they can play. It seems like this (is capable of) playing better defense and better at rebounding than past Beilein teams. Still should never have lost this game. Looked to me like they got very lazy down the stretch. Wilson thought he was in Columbus & getting jobbed on every foul call against him. He thought Beilein was a Sports talk show host & complained constantly after each one

Been at my job in Farmington Hills for 4.5 years. Never really looked at other jobs. Interviewed for the first time in September. Just got informed I got the job. Pretty much the same position. Difference is: No travel. Also, the job is in my home city of Wyandotte. Super excited. Cut my drive time from 2-2.5 hours a day to 5-10 minutes a day. More time with my wife & kid. I'm super excited. Waiting for the offer sheet. Hoping the pay is the same. When I applied, I put for $5k more than what I make now. But to be honest, even if it was 1-2k less than my current salary, I still think I would take it.

Didn't show much fire in the belly down the stretch in this one.

What's the significance of this photo besides the official having a huge fanboy look on his face That IS the point. The backjudge is an admitted life long Buckeye fan who is a businessman from Athens Ohio. He calls his job as a B1G official a Hobby........

the playoff needs to go conference champs + 3 at-large or it's going to run into these debacles. osu possibly passing teams (plus essentially getting a bye) that win their conference championship games is rediculous. I don't want to see more than 4 in the CFP, because it will make the regular season less meaningful. I don't think conference champions should automatically get in. What if Minnesota had beat Wisconsin, and got into the B1G Championship game at 5-3 (8-4 overall), then defeated PSU. Would they then be put into the CFP playoff? I just don't see it as an automatic. I think we can all agree that OSU is the best team in the B1G, but did not even when their division. My response would be I don't THINK 6 or 8 would make the reg. season meaningless. In fact, if you automatically enter the conference champs it seems as though you'd get more Okie/OSU....Wisky/OSU.....M/Florida pre-conference matchups cuz they wouldn't penalize a early season loss. But Anything more than that, no doubt it would.

So the myth that you need to win your conference championship to be in the CFP is now dead, correct? I think OSU blew the lid off of that thought process. It's a shame that Wisconsin or Penn State have great odds at getting into the CFP. Especially when you look at Wisconsin: Lost to both OSU and Michigan. And the only reason they are in the B1G championship game is Geography. I think so.....but we won't know for sure for a couple weeks.
But I think it's fair to examine the Badgers season. They opened defeating LSU. Say what you want, but that was a healthy, rested & raring to go LSU team. They went into East Lansing & thumped Sparty. Granted, this wasn't a stellar Sparty, but still.....they physically dominated them. The very next week they came into the Big House & played a fine road game vs. us. I know you can say, "well if we kick our FG's". Still, they found a way to hang around in a tough environment. Next game out, they challenged a tough OSU team tooth & nail. 2nd best team in the country we're told. Took them to OT. Since then they've taken care of business, so they've done all asked of them since then. I don't know, I guess cuz expectations just weren't there for Bucky I've been very impressed with the season they've put together.

Hard to win when your playing against the officials all game too. Even harder when you gifting OSU 14 points… This point TOTALLY agree with!! Biggest key of the game!

After the INT ball at the 13. On the 1st play M was offside taking it to the 8, giving Bucknuts 1st & 5 from there. Hardballs Unsportsman-like added half the distance giving it 1st & goal from 4. You received bad intel on the 15 yard walk-off my friend!
Jim had a meltdown which caused a 15 yard penalty during the drive after the INT. Whats so hard about that intel? No dude, read above. Not pleased to see him lose his cool there, but really, was an unsportsman like warranted there? Did he bad mouth the refs? Didn't look like it. Looked like he pitched clipboard & slammed his headset. Never saw a coach do that before. Nonetheless, the penalty was essentially a 4 yard penalty. Go check the play by play recap.

Im only criticizing the play because I think it works only if it was from a running package. Watch the game again and I really thought Meyer did just about every thing with leaving it out on the field to will his team to win. Attempting 3 4th downs which one was a fake punt in his own red zone. I hate games like this because even when UM had a chance to seal the game Speight fumbles on the fucking 3 yard line…. Meyer gave it right back after the fumble with the fake punt and Michigan scored. But the fumble does matter. Maybe not to seal it, but M scores the TD there & you're up 17-7. After stopping O$U on next possession the question is do they still fake there or punt out, but you already have the 17 points in your pocket. You didn't need to capitalize on the botched fake punt to get to 17. If they still fake punt & you stop them then maybe you turn it into 24-7 at that point. We'll never know.

Did they just run that one screen with the face mask? Should have run 4 or 5 of those to slow the pass rush. The peppers stuff was worthless. The screen was after the Pick 6. Then the horrible pick thrown by Speight only to be pancaked by Jim weak ass emotions causing a 15 yard penalty… After the INT ball at the 13. On the 1st play M was offside taking it to the 8, giving Bucknuts 1st & 5 from there. Hardballs Unsportsman-like added half the distance giving it 1st & goal from 4. Play calling got extremely conservative the entire month of November. I think it's mainly because the oline sucks. Agree, o-line was like a sieve all damn day. A freshman kept beating both guards like a drum. Speight was terrible with 2 big interceptions and a huge fumble. So the refs sucked, but this loss is all on Michigan. Harbaugh is making a hard loss worse with his Whinnying. Shut your pie hole and learn to beat those A-holes That rant was letting my frustrations out. That said, UofM fought a very tough game until the end & represented the university proud. No reason why this VETERAN o-line shouldn't have been able to take care of business down the stretch vs. the YOUNG Luckeye D-line. Still can't understand why Ty Issac doesn't get a few looks a game when it matters. Higdon before Issac....

I think we'll a few opportunities to hit big plays on offense. If we hit them, we'll have a good chance of winning. Lately we haven't been hitting them. True.....but unfortunately we've given up big plays, especially early in the season too. Plus in most recent history O$U has burned us for big plays. Bottom line, shut down big plays against, get your share of 3-6 and outs & continue the stout red zone D when called upon. I'll take that & let the chips fall.

In honor of MNF being in Mexico City Westwood One is letting a Mexican guy do the play by play and it's awful. Pretty sure I heard them say it was the first NFL "regular season" game played outside of the US. I guess Europe is part of the US now.........

Just how sad is this. 2 former Tigers win Cy Young awards, Porcello just beat out Verlander for AL. and Scherzer takes the NL. We all knew Scherzer was/is a true stud. No surprise that he's carried on in the NL. Ricky P is the big surprise. Always considered him a nice piece as a #3/#4 but to throw up the stats he did this year. HOLY SH*t! Roiding maybe? LOL.

I wondered what would happen once they played in cold weather. That was like watching the Tigers play in April. That loss was on Harbaugh if you blame him for not making his tissue soft team practice outside. Chesson couldn't catch a ball with his hands, so he started trying to body catch everything. Cold weather is a bitch. Michigan doesn't practice outside? I was in Phoenix, watching the game downtown with some coworkers and racking up a nice bar tab when Iowa kicked the field goal to win. Our bartender starts high giving another guy with a Cleveland shirt on and they begin to passionately shout the O-H I-O chant. Dipshitec chanted his way into no tip... and our tab was around $200 Plus the fact that our loss put the Buckeyes in a precarious situation going forward, although I know today's scuttlebutt is Buckeyes could probably still get in to final 4 by winning out, even without B1G title game on the resume.

I think there's also a surprising number of uneducated women that don't think a woman should be president. My business partner is part of the United Pentecostal Church. Know for a fact those women were anti Clinton. Pretty much all of those women DO stay in the kitchen & and that's what seems to be expected of them, and they either embrace it or are looked upon as rebellious.

I got the Cubbies rallying & pulling out the series. Red Sox came from 3-0 down vs. Yanks to make the series & win their first title in forever, Why not the Cubbies go magical to get their first in over 100 years?

The smoke & mirror show has put 6 W's on the board in a row. Nice to come out of the box hot! Nice to see Howard look impressive early too. May actually be able to get some value for him later.
