Pretty amazing that there isnt even a thread for this season. It has been a crazy one. I think 3rd,4th and 5th ranked teams lost last night and that has been happening a lot

Umm because the show is based on the comics? So its ok to potentially ruin it for people who dont read the comics?

Someone way up in ESPN must have came up with that idea, bc every analyst and commentator was singing its praises throughout the game... When they had to have known it was horse shit It was so obvious it was painful. The announcers were lying out of their asses while the angles were getting ripped to shreds on twitter by everyone on earth

I know the show often doesnt go the same way but why do people feel the need to mention the comics on a thread about the TV show?

The camera angle got more press than the game and none of it was good

Eh, Michigan didn't play very good, gutted it out. I'm not going to call them lucky because the other team was the same way. In that respect, you could say purdue was lucky they weren't blown out True but they lost so they didnt get that lucky. I'll take the win but dont have high hopes for this team

Talked to two different friends today who know much more about the bball team than me and both said separately that Beilein shows not fire at all while coaching and he is recruiting crap that he hopes develops instead of 4 and 5 stars He has two four stars in next years class Jon Teske is a 7 footer that averages like 14 points a game in high school and no big surprise shoots 3 pointers. No idea how he is even a 4 star

kid is a tool When Jim Harbaugh took over at Michigan, Swenson's commitment was still in place. Then, over the course of the next several months, Swenson was asked to come to Ann Arbor and compete in camps, and also to work out in front of coaches, and Swenson refused. Harbaugh and company saw this as a red flag and decided to do some digging. They learned that Swenson had not developed like many thought he would and had become complacent with his work ethic and desire to compete. Some time in the fall, the coaches informed Swenson that they'd like him to look elsewhere and that he no longer held a committable offer from U-M. A source very close to the situation said that Swenson refused to go public with the information, convinced that he'd still end up in Ann Arbor. Of course Valenti went nuts on this whole thing today and even basically ripped Doug Karsch on the air

Because everyone does this, including recruits. but nobody cares when a recruit does it. This story is spreading nationwide

What could be the rest of the story? I think Jimmy wants to win. How could a story like this help future recruiting? If you will screw over a 4 star why would anybody trust you?
