The office was the last sitcom I watched. Haven't seen one episode of any of them since. I think it's a dead genre as Seinfeld joked about on SNL. Yeah Big Bang Theory will never make it

This is todays world Police Reveal Twists in Las Vegas Mom's Road Rage Death: Her Son Had a GunPolice who said road rage was behind a Las Vegas mother's death now say the victim was shot after she and her adult son, who grabbed a handgun, went looking for the other vehicle. After Tammy Meyers, 44, and her son found and briefly trailed the car before returning home, she was fatally shot outside her house as her son exchanged gunfire with the unknown assailant. The new detail came in a news conference held Tuesday by Las Vegas Metro Police Lt. Ray Steiber, who added that police are still searching for the suspect vehicle and an occupant, a man believed to be in his 20s with dirty blond hair worn in a spiked style, who they'd like to question. "I would never say anybody went looking for trouble," Steiber told reporters. "Unfortunately, I can't ask Tammy what was in her mind at the time of her actions," he added. "What I can say is that at this point in time, Tammy is a victim, okay? This family right now is in mourning. They are very distraught over what has occurred. It's our job and it's our obligation as a community and a law enforcement organization to ensure that everyone is safe regardless of what our personal opinions are on certain people's actions." Meyers, a nurse and mother of four, was on her way home Feb. 12 from a school parking lot where she had been giving her 15-year-old daughter a driving lesson. The daughter said another car sped up from behind and then pulled alongside Meyers' car, Steiber said. As the second car passed, Meyers' daughter reached over from the passenger seat and honked the horn. "She figured this person was speeding, and right or wrong, they needed to be corrected," Steiber said. After the male driver in the second car stopped and caused what police earlier called a "near-collision," he got out and had a verbal exchange with Meyers. Meyers then continued home, had her daughter go inside and get her son Brandon, along with his handgun, and mother and son spent five to 10 minutes driving through the neighborhood looking for the other car, the officer said. "Mrs. Meyers is scared, but she's upset," Steiber said. The intent of her search appeared to be "so they can find who frightened them on the roadway," he said. Meyers found and then briefly followed the other car, Steiber said. Then she returned home a second time and was outside of the house when a vehicle that police described as a four-door gray or silver sedan pulled up, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire, prompting Brandon to fire back. "All indications to us are that this unknown person fired first," Steiber said. Meyers, who was behind her son, was hit in the head and died two days later after being taken off life support. Police, who have not made any arrests or named any suspects, say the suspect car "may have impact rounds from gunfire."

Jimmy Howard lets in one goal and the Wings score zero and message board morons are still blaming Howard. Are fans this stupid in every city?

Yeah and I felt the clips they did show were rushed. I know over 40 years there are thousands but it would have been better if they used less and focused on the better ones. For anyone young or who didn't watch when the great moments happened it was just a one liner and cut to the next. Paul Simon was there. Shouldn't he have done the song instead of Miley? It was a Simon and Garfunkal song. It was a Paul Simon solo hit but when all was said and done I thought Miley did a decent job. She does have talent when she isnt busy trying to be controversial. Since Simon did get to sing another song it didnt bother me too much. Maybe a new generation will check Simon out since Miley likes him too

The first hour was pretty good and included Celebrity Jeopardy but it was up and down after that. Steve Martin and Martin Short were both funny. Weekend Update was great with Poehler, Fey and Jane Curtin. The California skit was horrible and way too long. 40 years of great musical guests and for some reason they chose to have Kanye and Miley Cyrus on as performers. I am hoping Paul McCartneys voice was off because he performed the night before because he was seriously awful. Was good to see the Waynes World sketch at the end but we had to wait 3 hours for it. I am sure it was hard to put a show like that together and keep everybody happy but much of what they included as actual live skits wasnt great. I sat and watched for 3 1/2 hours which doesnt happen too often so it kept me entertained for the most part. The biggest disappointment was Eddie Murphy who was introduced by Chris Rock and then came out on stage and said thank you a few times and left without doing anything

Why did Eddie Murphy bother showing up last night. He always seems like he thinks very highly of himself and is better than everybody else

I havent been to Fenway but the only stadium I can compare to Tiger Stadium is Wrigley Field for how close you can be to the field. The upper deck infield seats at Tiger Stadium were awesome

He is talking about the old Tiger Stadium
"Some Tigers fans still complain that despite being a handsome ballpark that accentuates downtown Detroit, with what architecture critics say is some of the handsomest old skyscrapers in the nation, the experience for fans pales, compared to the old ballpark."

When your field goal percentage 38.5% is almost identical to your FT percentage 38.9% you know you are in trouble

I read a thing about the walking to work dude. He got 2 hours of sleep a night, and walked to and from work for like 8 hours a day. How do you survive that? Cynical me keeps waiting for there to be a rest of the story. I also love all the other people on message boards that are whining because nobody gives them anything. I am surprised Mitch Albom hasnt made this in to a TV movie yet

I am embarrassed to say it but after driving home from a super bowl party last night I could not get anywhere near my house because the sub was a mess so I spent the night in a hotel a mile away A mile away is near your house. I guess I could have parked at the hotel and walked home at 1 am but that wasnt a real good option
