Woman fatally shot while adjusting bra holster
ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – Police say a 55-year-old southwestern Michigan woman who died after accidentally shooting herself in the head in January was adjusting a handgun in her bra holster at the time. The St. Joseph Public Safety Department is awaiting a full autopsy report in the death of Christina Bond, but Director Mark Clapp on Wednesday released details about the circumstances surrounding the January 1 shooting to the Kalamazoo Gazette. Clapp says Bond was "having trouble adjusting her bra holster, couldn't get it to fit the way she wanted it to. She was looking down at it and accidentally discharged the weapon." Bond was taken to a hospital, where she died. www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2015/02/18/shooting-death-bra-holster/23608931/

Why not carry around the house, unloaded, to get used to it and adjust things?

They are letting just about anyone carry these days. I know guys who have gotten their records expunged so that they could too. The dummies weeding themselves out doesn't happen often enough.

What the fuck do they need to do an autopsy for? To try to find proof of stupidity?

This is todays world Police Reveal Twists in Las Vegas Mom's Road Rage Death: Her Son Had a GunPolice who said road rage was behind a Las Vegas mother's death now say the victim was shot after she and her adult son, who grabbed a handgun, went looking for the other vehicle. After Tammy Meyers, 44, and her son found and briefly trailed the car before returning home, she was fatally shot outside her house as her son exchanged gunfire with the unknown assailant. The new detail came in a news conference held Tuesday by Las Vegas Metro Police Lt. Ray Steiber, who added that police are still searching for the suspect vehicle and an occupant, a man believed to be in his 20s with dirty blond hair worn in a spiked style, who they'd like to question. "I would never say anybody went looking for trouble," Steiber told reporters. "Unfortunately, I can't ask Tammy what was in her mind at the time of her actions," he added. "What I can say is that at this point in time, Tammy is a victim, okay? This family right now is in mourning. They are very distraught over what has occurred. It's our job and it's our obligation as a community and a law enforcement organization to ensure that everyone is safe regardless of what our personal opinions are on certain people's actions." Meyers, a nurse and mother of four, was on her way home Feb. 12 from a school parking lot where she had been giving her 15-year-old daughter a driving lesson. The daughter said another car sped up from behind and then pulled alongside Meyers' car, Steiber said. As the second car passed, Meyers' daughter reached over from the passenger seat and honked the horn. "She figured this person was speeding, and right or wrong, they needed to be corrected," Steiber said. After the male driver in the second car stopped and caused what police earlier called a "near-collision," he got out and had a verbal exchange with Meyers. Meyers then continued home, had her daughter go inside and get her son Brandon, along with his handgun, and mother and son spent five to 10 minutes driving through the neighborhood looking for the other car, the officer said. "Mrs. Meyers is scared, but she's upset," Steiber said. The intent of her search appeared to be "so they can find who frightened them on the roadway," he said. Meyers found and then briefly followed the other car, Steiber said. Then she returned home a second time and was outside of the house when a vehicle that police described as a four-door gray or silver sedan pulled up, and someone inside the vehicle opened fire, prompting Brandon to fire back. "All indications to us are that this unknown person fired first," Steiber said. Meyers, who was behind her son, was hit in the head and died two days later after being taken off life support. Police, who have not made any arrests or named any suspects, say the suspect car "may have impact rounds from gunfire."

See... Had the man in the grey sedan not had a fire arm, he may have been the victim of a crime.
