garage door opener broke this morning. nice reflex-check to hear a crack, see the door give way and then have to floor it backing out to avoid having my hooptie smashed all to hell.

350 a month for lot rent.. The novi location on a 2000.00 a month gross monthly income ? I paid 500 in 07 in wixom for an apartment with less square footage. That same apartment is now 700 a month all I want for my birthday is a big booty ho Oh sorry, I don't know how those houses work. I don't think it's a bad thing if you can actually move it. For 200 dollars, christ I spent that on towel bars for my fukcing bathroom. I didn't realize he got it for $200. It's still not something you really want to sink too much money in. The newer ones are worth moving if you can get some land somewhere but not all cities or townships allow those types of homes. You have to do your homework for a move. I don't know if I'd be expecting to pick up too many chicks in the Novi/Northville or any other area by telling them we could go back to my trailer.

The power line issue isn’t my issue. That belongs to the people in Waterford. Whoever owns that house in Waterford has to deal with replacing the entire telephone pole at some absurd expense with a taller pole. They can’t leave that house until it’s done. The carpenter said it is going to cost that guy $30K. Once we started busting balls, they began framing my house. The floor and some of the walls are supposed to be up by the time I get there after work. Juicy will be happy to know that at least one of our new neighbors hates us. It all started when this a-hole who delivered the wood managed to destroy my neighbor’s mailbox then drove off like nothing happened. Someone also managed to hit this decorative iron thing that I assume they are using to mark the property line between this guy’s lot and the lot and the lot next to his lot. The same guy probably did that also. His daughter saw him hit the mailbox and drive off. They worked with the company to get reimbursed. I was unaware it happened. This is a private drive. It has four lots on it that use the drive. I believe they were two 10 acre lots that were split 3 ways. A total of 4 houses use the private drive to access their house. The two houses at the front of the drive don’t use the drive at all. My side of the street was undeveloped. The other side has had two houses on the street for a number of years. The private drive is an easement. That means anyone who owns property on either side of the private drive has the right to use the drive to gain access to their house. Because the houses on the other side of the street were built first, they cut the private drive out of those people’s property. They in theory own their lots including the road up to the edge of my property. The bizarre thing is that includes a small drainage ditch on my side of the street adjacent to the gravel road. The electrical and gas box is on the other side of the street. In order to bring the lines to my property, we had to remove an awful shrub that was directly across from it in the ditch. My lot was an overgrown mess. It had been that way for years. The shrub looked awful. It was just an overgrown weed. It needed to be removed anyway. We had the excavator take it out because that’s what DTE told us to do. The day it was removed, we got an email from the guy across the street. He was thoroughly pissed off that we removed a shrub from his property. We were trying to figure out how the excavator managed to get across the street to that guy’s lot. It was our mistake for forgetting that this guy’s property actually extends across the road for 10 ft or so. There is no sidewalk. The best way to explain it is if your neighbor across the street from you owned the street in front of your house and that strip of grass between your sidewalk and the street in front of your house. You can imagine the owner of that land would get pissed off if you did anything to that land without their approval. He said he was concerned about the visual barrier between his house and my lot. It’s weird considering there are no trees between his house and the house next to his on his side of the street. We responded to his message offering to meet with him to discuss property lines. We never got a response after sending two messages. We were going to tell him that we would replace the shrub with some sort of new “visual barrier”. I don’t know if he is no longer pissed off or not. I intended to cut the grass in the ditch on my side of the road. I assume he is still planning to cut the grass in front of my house on my side of the road. That seems rediculous to me but I guess the guy is attached to the ditch. I assume he is paying taxes on it. Who am I to tell him he can’t cut the grass and get pissed off over rogue shrub removal? I love pPepper's stories.

Fish tanks in many ways are worse than just having a dog dog >>>> fish I had a fish tank about 15 yrs ago, I think it was 80 or 100 gallon. Loved it, until the first time I had to clean it. Really sucks having to clean those things. Couldnt wait to get rid of it after that... since then I have had 2 golden retrievers.. Picking up dog crap >>>>>>> cleaning a fish tank

Fish tanks are great.
But....they can be a headache.
Although, anytime you have a 80-100 gallon, you pretty much sign up for that.

Does 350 include water and sewer? That seems like a lot for just the lot. I can see why trailer parks are a good investment. Water is 20 to 25 a month all I want for my birthday is a big booty ho

I need a basement rack as well. Now that the kid moved her stuff out of the house, again, we have our basement back and I want to take maximum advantage of the space. Need a rack for the back corner for the misc boxes and stuff.

Just closed on a re-fi to get rid of the mortgage insurance. Knocked 125/mo off my note. Thanks Obama Trying to do that now too... But I didn't realize that my foreclosure on my house in Livonia didn't finalize until Jan 2009. I started the process in Aug of 2007. So I still have a full year until it is 7 years out. Like an idiot- we bought our new truck and without thinking- we put in both my wife and my names. When we bought the house- we did it in just my wife's name as I was a couple years out. At the time, her debt to income was enough to get conventional lending with just her- now that we added the truck... It isn't. So now I'm waiting to see if my mortgage gal (a friend) can get a manual underwrite approved. Credit is 769 and our total DTI is around 25%. So every factor outside that damn foreclosure is in my favor and I should be able to save around $240/month. Unfortunately, I have a feeling it's not gonna work.
