I'm sure regionally speaking most Michiganders browsing this board (the 1 or 2 of you besides myself) are Detroit area based, but just wondering if anyone has made it over to GR to see any Griffins action. Have wanted to but timing just hasn't worked out for myself. Catching the video highlights online & looks like it's been quite an exciting run up to this point. Being raised on Minor league hockey here in Flint I've always had a appreciation for playoff hockey regardless of the level, & to enjoy it in person in the cozier confines of a minor league arena make it seem that more exciting. Here's hoping Grand Rapids can bring home another Calder Cup!

I have to admit, I haven't seen a Griffins game in person or on TV. Even though I have been to Grand Rapids many times and love visiting the city.

Playoff hockey game at an arena surrounded by the some of the best breweries in the country? That sounds like an okay trip.

Nice job by the Griffins in taking the Calder Cup. Of course tap the brakes on the "once we call up all those guys the Wings will be Cup contenders again" banter.
