My wife and I went to the HF today just to hang out. We've got a membership and wanted something to do where we could get out and walk around. There's an NFL exhibit there currently, through Sunday. Lots of jerseys and crap from the hof, other interesting things. It wasn't anything too impressive, but there were some cool Lions things in there that I took pics of. I'll post the stuff I took pics of off my phone. I couldn't figure out how to create a thread in tappytalk.

This was the jersey that Stafford wore in that game where he dislocated his shoulder and rushed for a touchdown to win the game in 09. They had to cut the jersey off him because he could raise his arms to take it off.

Also, they had a display of Barry's #20 jersey and Simms' #20 jersey. It was interesting to see the difference in the jerseys and how they changed over the years. Simms' jersey from the 80s had gray sparkley numbers, Barry's was white. Striping was different too.
They had casts of certain linemen's arms, I forget who. Huge 19 and 20 inch biceps. Very impressive.

Are they sure that was a nose guard?

Are they sure that was a nose guard? Can't imagine how that caused more injuries than it prevented.
