So my wife and I decided to just buy something for ourselves this year, as I prefer, and that worked out nice. I got a cordless impact gun, she bought something. I'm very happy.
I supposedly convinced her sisters not to buy for us. But they still did. We did not buy for them. I got a flashlight, again. They gave my wife some crappy necklace thing.
We bought for the grandkids heavily. Wife insisted on giving things to the kids as well, and I didn't argue. Although I did manage to temper the dollar amount for the gifts.
Pretty happy with the way things turned out this year.
IMO though my wife still owes me for last year.

Oh, and my Mom sent one her lemon cakes (my favorite). My dad sent the coney package and some polish sausage from Hamtramck and some Better Made chips.

I got an electric one not too long ago from Harbor freight. I've been really happy with it. Then again, I didn't think an electric one would have enough power. All my dad had were ones that needed to be hooked up to a compressor.

Dewalt 20v and that thing is great. I have a corded electric one from harbor freight as well. The cordless one is more powerful i think. I used it last week to take the lugs off my tires when i had to change it. Came with a bag and 2 battries. And there are lots of other power tools that use those 20 v battries as well.

The dog got me up at 6:08. I didn't even know she celebrated Christmas. Must have been the smell of raindeer in the air.

My almost 4 year old is just now grasping the concept of Christmas, the meaning behind it (thanks Catholic school) and is getting excited. In reality, this is pretty much her first Christmas. The 3 before this were more for mom and dad than the kids

We always open presents Christmas Eve. Grandkids came over Weds night, did presents then. I don't think they really understand the concept of Christmas yet. They just wanted to play with toys. And ftr, everything grandpa (me) picked out for them was a giant hit. I also bought a book for their mom that was a big hit with her as well. It's a book about the making of Salem' Lot with a ton of cool color pics and behind the scenes shit, and she totally dug it.

I need to return my shinola. 48cm face is too big. I feel like a rapper. 42cm version of it should work.
