Beck road is going to be a disaster all summer with the 275 construction. Every damn road was a disaster today. I had to go from the Ville to 14 Mile and Farmington. Decided to take Meadowbrook. That was fine until I got to 12 Mile, which eastbound was a fucking mess. So I stayed on Meadowbrook until 13, which wasn't horrible, but still a clusterfuck.

I'll be cutting through subdivisions if I have to go north/south in town. Luckily I don't really ever have to go to the Novi/Farmington Hills area.

My wife suggested we should leave an hour early to secure our seats.

My wife is in Michigan this weekend helping her mom who just had a hysterectomy. The fireworks came early though as the crazy sister got into a huge fight with her father at 10 o'clock on Thursday. This led to her 22-year-old son putting my wife's 70-year-old father in a headlock. To get out, he bit him. His crazy daughter proceeded to call the cops and the cops saw blood drawn on her son's arm and arrested her father for domestic violence. They even tried to tell him he could not go back to his own house for two weeks where his deadbeat daughter has been squatting for three years.
...and here I was moping because I'm stuck running daddy day care with a 5, 3 and 1 year old. Looks like I got the lesser of evils

The sister has a 22 year old son? They should all buy guns and have a shootout. If I was the father, I'd put the house up for sale and gtfo out of that situation. I don't know why more people don't do that.

I don't know why more people don't do that. I've been pushing for him to do this... It's way bigger than what they need, but he wanted to keep the bigger house because all of my wife's sisters- except the psycho B- live out of state. The irony is they kept the house so everyone has a place when they come home to visit... But no one will stay at their house when they come visit due to the wack jobs squatting there. I guess the Wife, her parents priest, a social worker and of course- the wife's parents are having a meeting (intervention) tonight to put together a plan to remove the sister and son from the premesis. The biggest road block is the wife's mom- who is the queen enabler. Everything in her world is rainbows and unicorns and her special little snowflake just needs more support and love. Dad cuts wacko off financially... Mom sneaks her a credit card when he isn't looking. Wash rinse repeat for 44 years

You should FaceTime in for the intervention. Make sure nobody backs out.

Brilliant.
I gave up trying at Christmas though when per the pleading request of Dave and Pat (the in-laws), I helped write up a legal agreement to give the 22yr old low life a list of ultimatums... I spent 3-4hrs working on it- only to have him puss out and never give it to the kid.

I found some traffic lawyer templates online to use as a starting point

No... AA... But not like being on topic in a thread has any bearing around here Weren't you looking at moving here at one time? Decided to stay in Florida? Yes... We were looking hard at homes in the Ville, but the timing of some opportunities were a bit off. Basically, I wouldn't be able to relocate with my company until this October... We were exploring it last October. Unfortunately a lot happens when you have to wait a year. Now, it seems we are so heavily vested in our daughters school, and made some solid relationships... That it would be a lot harder to re-relocate now.

Though, leaving now would save a shit load of cash. Just paid the first months tuition for kid A and kid B to be in Catholic school this week. $1100 a month this year... On top of $1600 a month for a full time nanny because I still have a little shit at home too. Crazy to think that having 3 kids in private school will actually save me a fuck ton.
If moved to Michigan- we could almost get away with public schools, as an A school in Florida is like a C school downriver in Michigan

Yea I'm not paying for private school in the Northville school district. That's just stupid. If my kid needs that much help/attention, he isn't going to amount to jack squat anyway and can live in a van down by the river as that's his destiny.

Yeah the fucked up thing here, is I live in what would be considered the Bloomfield of Tampa Bay. Has the top rated elementary and middle school in the area and was just rated as the top area to live in all of florida if you have a family...
Unfortunately, the high school in the area pulls from my community Westchase and an area called Town and Ghetto (Country). It would be similar to Northville High pulling students from Redford. All 3 high schools in the area- including the recent built George Steinbrenner High in New Tampa (which is like calling Walled Lake - Northville north) are all at over 100% capacity and have 2500+ students.
We didn't have a choice on private verse is public sadly... IMO. Having played ball with a ton of the kids who have recently graduated Alonzo... It's that perfect storm of kids with tons of money who's parents are never around and kids with no money and no parents period. When you see a kid who you know, and his dad owns a bunch of State Farm branches and his mom is our family dentist... And this kid has his shorts sagging off his ass and talks like he just did time in San Quentin... And he's the pride of the high school... That's All I need to start cutting checks to the Vatican

FLA's school system must be whack if in the top area in FLA to live with a family you have shitty public schools. #gomustangs

I think the public schools were the top thing we were considering when deciding where to move for the most part. I'm not paying 1 cent outside of my taxes for pre-college education.

More if you didn't start saving at birth...
