My wife was really into the Office and Parks and Rec. I thought parts of them were funny but I didn't care for them being in a documentary and always giving interviews to the camera. I thought it was dumb.
The last sitcom I really liked was 30 Rock.

Anyone here watch the west wing originally? I loved it the first time around and am watching it again on netflix.
couple of goofy things for fans of the show:
1) in season 1 Donna makes reference to thinking she saw matthew perry on the street when they visit california.. Matthew Perry is a character on the show, not playing himself, int he later seasons.
2) Toby and other staffers repeatedly say "I could care less" Of all characters, there's no way Toby should be saying that

Is anyone watching True Detective? From what I hear, it sucks. Glad I didn't order HBO for it.

New Doctor Who starts tomorrow night. Never got into it. Is it good? My son got me to watch it a while ago. He loves it. For me, it can be a real good at times and others a little boring. It has been on TV for a long time. Maybe because they have a new actors playing the role of the Doctor and companion every 3 years. So these new actors bring a new dynamic to the show. If you like sci-fi shows you will probably like it.

He has in essence a time machine. It is called the "Tardis", which can travel in time and relative dimension in space. Because they believe history and the future are being played out in modern time, just in other dimensions. Look it up here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Who. This will give you a good idea of it and its history of the show.

Guy Fieri and Anthony Bourdain Fued:
Bourdain has taken plenty of shots at Fieri over the years, calling Fieri’s restaurant a “terror-dome” while also stating he’d be the resulting product “if Ed Hardy fucked a juggalo.” Bourdain also made fun of the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives star’s infamous “flame outfit” during a July interview with Atlanta Magazine. In September, he defended his constant jabs to People, saying, “The day you can’t tell jokes about Guy Fieri, comedy as we know it is dead. I tell jokes about those guys; it’s what I do.”
Fieri responded to Bourdain’s bullying in a new interview with GQ:
“I don’t like him making fun of people, and I don’t like him talking shit. And he’s never talked shit to my face. I know he’s definitely gotta have issues, ’cos the average person doesn’t behave that way. It’s not that I’m not open to the reality that the food world was like this from a few people’s perspective. It’s just, What are you doing? What is your instigation? You have nothing else to fucking worry about than if I have bleached hair or not? I mean, fuck.”
