The weird thing about NPR is that organization is clearly left leaning but everyone regardless of political preference still listens to those stations. I remember years ago working in a building that had people who didn't agree on politics at all but everyone still listened to NPR. They listened to the shows that were politically based. I've been listening to This American Life podcasts all week. The hippies in the seal podcast are hilarious. It's amazing how many losers are in this country. m.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/582/when-the-beasts-come-marching-inNpr is pretty fair to both sides if you ask me. Yeah, they are about as unbiased as Valenti's takes on Michigan.

Trump is the republican version of Kwame Kilpatrick. So lazy, what about Robert Ficano, but then again if you have the complexion of protection...
Today's announcement comes almost three years after a Free Press investigation found that three of Ficano's top aides devoted much of their county work time to raising money for Ficano's political and nonprofit operations, with more than $500,000 they generated going to companies connected to families or friends of two of them.
Those Ficano aides, the Free Press reported, targeted county contractors who were expected to give between $5,000 and $25,000 to Ficano's 2010 re-election campaign. County department heads also were ordered to support Ficano's annual fund-raising gala by selling $500 tickets, the paper reported.
The investigation resulted in convictions of five people, including Wayne County's chief information officer and assistant Wayne County executive, who served as the director of HealthChoice of Michigan.
Ficano's deal sounds a lot like Hillary's. Dodged that bitch bullet.

Trump is the republican version of Kwame Kilpatrick. This makes no sense. More like opposites. Kwame was a young, charismatic crook from a family of politicians.

Gekko was worried about Trump deporting his wife, so he decided to erase any online footprint leading back to him or her.

Donna Brazile, the interim leader of the Democratic National Committee, was giving what one attendee described as “a rip-roaring speech” to about 150 employees, about the need to have hope for wins going forward, when a staffer identified only as Zach stood up with a question. “Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this?” he asked, according to two people in the room. “You backed a flawed candidate, and your friend [former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz] plotted through this to support your own gain and yourself.” Some DNC staffers started to boo and some told him to sit down. Brazile began to answer, but Zach had more to say. “You are part of the problem,” he continued, blaming Brazile for clearing the path for Trump’s victory by siding with Clinton early on. “You and your friends will die of old age and I’m going to die from climate change. You and your friends let this happen, which is going to cut 40 years off my life expectancy.”www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/donna-brazile-democratic-national-committee_us_5824cb95e4b0ddd4fe7954e8

Trump's numbers are quite in line with McCain and Romney. The difference in the turnout is negligible (300,000 +/- per year). The difference is the downturn in numbers for BHO vs. HRC (69mil BHO in 2008, 65mil BHO in 2012, 59mil HRC 2016.) The 12 mil that stayed home (origins of that number? by my math it's 10 mil 2008/2016 and 6 mil 2012/2016) were HRC voters, not DJT. As for new voters, the polling data is still mixed on that (per New York Times). What is clear is that latinos did not support HRC as strongly as predicted (the I-4 corridor in Florida, for example), and the polls over estimated HRC's support with educated honkies. Note also that voter turnout for African-Americans was also down in key states (NC, for example.) The latino vote is what is most surprising. Have you seen an explanation for that? I don't understand how Trump could get 30% of their votes. Hispanic citizen's don't want illegals here either.

I think there's also a surprising number of uneducated women that don't think a woman should be president. A woman should be the president of the kitchen.

People went with the historical angle and it backfired badly. Sanders shouldve won the DNC primary, but he didnt because it was rigged, even with the evidence in black and white people overlooked it. That being said the fact she was a female killed her chances with majority of the white population. Sanders being cheated out of the primary killed the motivation from democrat voters IMO. I don't think the fact that she is female had anything to do with her losing. It had to do with the fact that people are tired of the scandals and corruption. This was a rejection of "the establishment." Nope. White people hate females. Especially white women.
