Can they give the MVP to a player that lost a series 4-2? If GS wins tonight, they'll have won 3 straight games. We're talking about the regular season MVP (Curry). At least I was.

LeBron is the obvious MVP of this series. This Cavs team is the sorriest Finals roster ever. Tristan Thompson is the second best player on the roster. But I don't really understand MVP voting I guess so Curry will win.
Curry is great but we will look back at his regular season MVP and think about it the same way we do about the ones Steve Nash won over Shaq or Karl Malone won over MJ.

CLEVELAND -- Golden State forward Andre Iguodala was named MVP of the NBA Finals following the Warriors' 105-97 clinching win Tuesday night, becoming the first player to garner the honor without starting every game.

Unlike those guys Steph/Warriors won the title. I agree the LBJ is really the MVP every yr but at least Steph finished as champ.

Would Cleveland have won a game in the finals if it was Curry instead of Lebron on that team? Umm no.

Monroe signing a max deal with the Bucks. That should work out well.

Monroe signing a max deal with the Bucks. That should work out well. not sure why it wouldn't. Fills a need for them. I like their roster.

The "max" term is one of the unfortunate byproducts of the CBA. Max contracts are not reserved for center pieces. He isn't a superstar and in a perfect world, he wouldn't command a max deal but that is the market now. He will be the main offensive low post option for them.

It's not surprising that NBA contracts are so big. There's only 9 or 10 players in the rotation for each team and the tv contract is huge.

Even if you spread that over a full roster of 15 guys the numbers are gonna be stupid.

This DeAndre Jordan thing is pretty amazing. Could flip quite a few of the agreements over the last few days. Gonna be very interesting.

The reports that he wouldn't even answer Cuban's call bother me. At least answer the phone and tell him you changed your mind.

Yeah, he has the right to change his mind but when you consider everything that took place after he committed to the Mavs, you would think you could at least answer the phone.
Did you see the draft express article about DJ's mental makeup and the psychological profile on him coming out of school?

I didn't but his and most of the Clips mental makeup has been on full display for yrs now.

Doc said he got a call from Fegan when DeAndre committed to Dallas. Fegan should have done the same when he committed to L.A.
