Cubes has been saying Trump is a financial phony for a long time. I guessing that Trump won't sue him for slander, as he did the NYT reporter, because Cubes has the cash to fight back. Trump only includes the asset side of his balance sheet. Who doesn't do that?

That's what I figured, but hasn't he claimed this entire time that he is self funding his campaign? So I was wondering what the significance would be unless you're a liberal dolt trying to spin this as a failure For Trump?

You're my boy Trump!! ;) You missed one: Financially supported politicians who opposed all of the above positions.

Tsk...
It is not my boys fault that he financially supported them for one agenda, when they had many others as well.

I don't think trump is just using his debit card for the other 40 million.

Are we crossing into 'serious talk' with that question?
As a businessman, if a politician has connections of any sort that may directly benefit or hurt his ability to develop property, then naturally I could see him financially supporting them financially for the sake of his business growth. That said, when he may have done this, Trump was not a politician and therefore had no reason whatsoever to bother himself with any other agenda these politicians may have. Obviously, unless, it was something that was a major moral conflict with Trumps personal beliefs... I am sure that would have changed a bit, otherwise likely not.

Wasn't this part of his campaign, the fact that he won't take money from special interest groups to support his campaign so he can be free The same double standard bullshit that other politicians are prone to? I can't imagine that he, if you wanted, would not be able to get the same campaign donation as Hillary. All of that said, both candidates are complete nightmare, but at least some of the core platforms that Trump stands for above are more in line with what I would like to see out of the president. Unfortunately, he is a loose cannon when he speaks publicly.

He either doesn't have it or doesn't want to write that check.

How much has he's spent on his campaign today versus other candidates? I thought I saw a number that he had spent a fraction of the others. Why do we need to assume that he needs $200 million to compete with Hillary for president?

You might want to research his history before you get too invested in that argument.

Are you suggesting that he may have waffled or changed his mind on a topic in the past? Good point... If only he was more consistent like Hilary

I know, but as I said before... I dislike both candidates. So it's a matter of which one I like less, and I loathe HRC. It's like choosing between a bullet to the brain or boiling to death in a vat of acid.

I think trump is much more likely to fuck up something major. I also think his manufacturing protectionist economic policies are pretty terrible.

The Donald is going to learn what Hillary knows. The president is a figured head. He or she will be told what to do & how to do it. The one who steps out of line will be dealt with. Go along with the program & you will be paid extremely well. You automatically become one of the 1%, really sad what our country has become. This country at one time had the right idea, but now special interests rule the corrupt politicians.
