I do love Rachel Maddow on MSNBC using a clip where Trump said during a debate that "I spend hundreds of millions of dollars on taxes". No additional context with the quote is played. It does not say if he specifies that is in a single year or over his life. His tax return showed that he paid $38 million this year, yet they spent 45 minutes debating how he "said" 100M and he ONLY paid $38M. Come fucking on... the "news" is just unbearable now.

Oh and then because they don't have shit really with this year's taxes, they spent another 45 minutes talking about his tax returns from 2009, which was 18 years ago. Seems relevant

It's crazy how Trump leaked the year he paid tax.

I will say this, the tax issue totally blew up in the left's face. Trump paid $38 million on that released document. I don't care how much you make, that is a major amount to pay in taxes.

Sarcastic much or are you serious about them inflating an budget for defense while the rest of the country systems erode.

War is a business... and thus a source of commerce so profiling muslims is a business? That's not a bad franchise idea. I like it more than opening a mcdonald's or subway... Being more consciously aware that Muslim factions have shown a propensity for initiating war against are people is not an unconscionable act...

Comey and the FBI are investigating the Trump/Russia election collusion, but let's not forget Clinton once gave a paid speech to Goldman Sachs.

Didn't Manafort know Bill Clinton was already working on this
WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, secretly worked for a Russian billionaire to advance the interests of Russian President Vladimir Putin a decade ago and proposed an ambitious political strategy to undermine anti-Russian opposition across former Soviet republics, The Associated Press has learned. The work appears to contradict assertions by the Trump administration and Manafort himself that he never worked for Russian interests.
Manafort proposed in a confidential strategy plan as early as June 2005 that he would influence politics, business dealings and news coverage inside the United States, Europe and the former Soviet republics to benefit the Putin government, even as U.S.-Russia relations under Republican President George W. Bush grew worse. Manafort pitched the plans to Russian aluminum magnate Oleg Deripaska, a close Putin ally with whom Manafort eventually signed a $10 million annual contract beginning in 2006, according to interviews with several people familiar with payments to Manafort and business records obtained by the AP. Manafort and Deripaska maintained a business relationship until at least 2009, according to one person familiar with the work.
"We are now of the belief that this model can greatly benefit the Putin Government if employed at the correct levels with the appropriate commitment to success," Manafort wrote in the 2005 memo to Deripaska. The effort, Manafort wrote, "will be offering a great service that can re-focus, both internally and externally, the policies of the Putin government."
Manafort's plans were laid out in documents obtained by the AP that included strategy memoranda and records showing international wire transfers for millions of dollars. How much work Manafort performed under the contract was unclear.
