There are tons of similarities. I don't think UT really has their "Harbaugh" to come back though. Major Applewhite? Maybe Vince young can come back and resurrect.

Maybe Vince young can come back and resurrect. There's always Rickie Williams. He's coaching in San Antonio.

I honestly don't think UT would consider a black coach again, as bad as that sounds...

Juicy and I talk about this a lot, I think strong is more like their dickrod. The gold hat picture is a good example of that. They still need a hoke for a complete humble

Reminds me of UM pre harbaugh. You never know. There are a lot of parallels between UM and UT. Charlie Strong is UM's Brady Hoke. Seemed like a good idea at the time.... Their version of Dave Brandon got canned mid-season. Brady Hoke never seemed like a good idea.

Hoke seemed like a good idea after his initial presser and first year results. Other than that, not so much.

I think any nfl team would be crazy to hire him. He's ruined the eagles

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports answered two big questions after a conversation with Kelly: Glazer reported that Kelly wants to remain in the NFL, and he does not want personnel control in his next job, he just wants to coach. Both are important revelations. The Titans, or any other NFL team, would surely have had reservations about giving Kelly personnel control, but apparently he doesn't want it. And Kelly would have been a top candidate for any high-profile vacant college job in the future (and he has the financial cushion to wait for the right job) but that's all moot if he wants to stay in the NFL.

The system doesn't work when you trade all of your good players for bad ones. It seemed pretty clear that his offense could work at the NFL level but he was the classic "smarter than everyone else" GM.
