Glad they won. Would love it had it been easier, but a win is a win.

Glad they won. Would love it had it been easier, but a win is a win. Hopefully they don't pass the flu around the team and they stomp on the Bears.

They were showing jimmy and uncle Pete shaking hands What's your deal? Okie dokie. Wasn't following that in the Lion's thread, but now it makes sense.

I don't get the "suh brand" thing. Does he do a lot of commercials? He has the personality of a steaming turd...not very likable or charismatic. Don't get what he's branding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Subway, Nike, Chrysler. Pretty good porfoloio Seems pretty normal for a player of his caliber. Just don't get the branding stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So let's assume Lions win at da Bears and lose to the Pack. Also we are assuming the Pack win their last 2 games. What's the tiebreaker for the division?

That isn't correct if the packers win out.

I actually ended up really liking the 4:25 start and going into the weekend I wasn't excited about it at all. I'm just happy I didn't see any salad tossing pregame.

getting home at 9 sucked.. but other than that, we didnt tailgate and went to the bar to watch the early games instead, which was fun.

My coworker who is the massive Tiger homer literally all last season acted like he wanted to fight me if I said anything negative about the Fister trade. On Friday he sent me an IM saying “The Fister trade was a bad deal”. No shit.
Fast forward to this morning…..he is massively hating on the Lions. He’s actually been doing it all season. Looking back on it (I have a schedule on my wall) he picked the Lions to lose every game after the bye. He obviously has them losing the next two as well. I think they could win the next three games and if that third win was against an NFC south team, he would still find a way to hate on it. It’s fun F’ing with this guy. Here is my conversation with this a-hole on Office Communicator.
Me - Forward down the field.
Him - They did everything they could to lose but Min wouldnt take it. I knew the offense would struggle...they were awful.
Me - Right after Minn played that home game in Ford Field a guy called into the radio saying the curse then passed to Minn. I'm having a hard time disputing that now.
Him - it will always belong to the Lions. Just wait until they lose the next two.
Him - As usual, when they really need to win a game they come out flat. The defense finally woke up and won that game...again.
Me - That's football.
Him - Honestly, this is one of the worst 10 win teams I've ever seen. All they've done is pad their record by beating bad teams at home and they needed some miracles to do that.
Me - You could say the same thing about Green Bay. They are 7-0 at home and 3-4 on the road with one miracle win in Miami.
Him - GB isnt that great either...especially after yesterday but they did beat NE and they will win their last two. When they have to win games they will.
Him - Looks like you've put on the Honalulu blue glasses!
Me - I'm not looking through any glasses. Once this team started defying logic, I decided to approach this season by using facts instead of theory. You have a lot of emotion wrapped up in the Lions.
Him - I don't think they're defying logic. I see a mediocre team that is beting bad teams at home. They've been very lucky with their schedule. Caldwell has done a nice job of getting them to win the home games they should but they don't show up on the road against good teams. Defying logic would be winning in GB.
Him - I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt if they could have won just one of the two games against AZ or NE but they didn't show up for either. SOL.
Him - What is the world is the Quick Lane Bowl?

Why are tight ends uninvolved in the passing game? Seems like some games we just totally ignore them and it kills the offense.
