Thriving. Why does he always have these east side ventures? Doesn't he live in west Bloomfield?

I don't think Hoff was there. Maybe mtdman is an original? I joined in 2005 shortly after it started so I could talk shit to Valenti about Michigan. I think I was member 94 or something. That was back when M kept beating State year after year and Valenti would talk crap all the time but his team was owned on the field. Originally Valenti was quite involved and a lot of show stuff ran through that website. Then when they changed pds a few years later and he changed the name of the show he and Terry had to stop posting. Originally the show name was Sports Inferno and they had that catchy song. And Dough and Gator's show was The Big Show. That is back when I listened all day, even to Caputo's dumb rants on his evening show.

It wasn't Gator though. Was it Karsch and Regner at that point in the afternoons? I know the morning show was Lund and Spindler.... Awful.

I used to live stream the show(s)on the internet back on those days. I remember the PD change (Bigby?)-after he was done in Detroit, the sent him down to Dallas, and he did the same thing to our sports talk station-destroyed a working format. Turrible.

I remember listening to lund and spindler almost everyday. I must have had a higher tolerance for shitty radio back then.

Before they switched to 97.1fm, when they were on 1270am, Karsch was with Regner. Regner got the boot before the switch, and Gator joined in with Karsch when they were still on the AM side only. They were called The Big Show, I think as a knock on The Huge Show. They were on from 3-7 on the AM side. Mike and Terry were on before them. When they switched they went to the 10am to 2pm slot, Terry and Mike (SI) were on at 2pm to 6pm.
Lund and Spindler were the morning show on AM only. Then Spindler left and it was Gator and Lund. When Regner got fired, they moved Gator with Karsch and ran Mike and Mike in the morning drive slot. When they switched to FM they kept the morning show that 97.1 FM had before the switch. It was McCallister and fatboy, Jay Towers, for a couple years. I think probably because they had Towers under contract. They kept that show for a while and when Stoney's noncompete ran out hired Stoney to work with Bill, and fatboy went to wherever he is now. McCallister is the only one, btw, that has been at 97.1 fm since the rock station days back in the 90s.
Weirdly enough, the sports show that the 97.1fm talk station had got the boot. Parker and the Man, despite everyone's hate for Rob Parker, frequently won their time slot in the evenings in the ratings. I liked that show.
When they switched the fm talker to all sports, Deminski and Doyle, the pm drive show, moved to 94.7fm and it didn't work at all. That got canned in less than a year and they moved their show back to New Jersey. I really liked that show back in the fm talker days. That fm talk station was pretty damned good.
Keith Kramer, who used to have a show on the talker, is a rock dj on 104.7fm from Toledo in the 3pm afternoon drive slot.
If you want to really go back in time, before Karsch was on the 3pm time slot on the AM side, they had a show with Gibby, Gary Danielson and someone else. It was not a good show and it was up against Stoney and Wojo and they got killed in the ratings.
