I'm going the used route from now on. Got a good deal on a used Impala. Wanted a newerish one, but I don't quite have the change for one. This one was a 2011 with 36k miles on it. Previous owner was an old fart, so I was lucky to find something that someone babied the hell out of. The dealership wanted 14 I countered at 12.5k and they accepted. Put 4k down and have a really nice used car.

philly...is that the new terrain? I love what GMC and Buick are doing with their vehicles these days. I am loving the look of the new Lacrosse's, but 36k-40k are a little out of my price range. Hopefully by the time this one is paid off, I can find a decent used Lacrosse.

It's the Acadia. I'm leasing the new one for $320/month and 17,000 miles a year. I thought that was a pretty good deal.

It had to be a good deal or I wasn't getting it. We owned the old one and it's only 3.5 years old.

Acadia's are only 3 inches shorter than yukons/tahoes and have more cargo volume. They have the same seating.

I'm not sure how much that saved on the lease.

You can't fit three car seats in an Arcadia or Yukon and expect to have any cargo space at all.

New car already in for service...'merica Apparently mine came with two years of service and they neglected to tell me at the time of purchase. They've been emailing me telling me I haven't used it and I've had it almost 18 months.

New car already in for service...'merica that blows...what happened? I was sitting in the passenger side listening to the sales guy demonstrate the controls. When he finished I pulled the handle and the door wouldn't open. He gave us a loaner and said it might be fixed tomorrow.
