Other than Glen not getting eaten by walkers, so far the season has been a pretty big dud. Find a safe place to live with walls. Someone wants to take it over or destroy it. Walls get knocked down, in come walkers. Everyone flee. Pretty redundant and formulaic. Let's do something new.

Last week Tara shoots 20 straight walkers in the head without missing. This week she has a clear shot at the wolf guys head when he takes her girlfriend hostage and she just gives up her gun.
When Carol went in to kill the wolf she has a knife in her hand and a gun on her hip. Why didnt she use the gun?
This season has had a lot of crappy writing. They have also pissed people off by trying to force us to watch Badlands to see the previews each week.
My cousin said she is bailing on the show because of the same "meet new bad guy" formula every storyline. She is tired of it

I'm not sure why the wolf guy didn't kill everyone. Not like a hostage is going to help him against the zombies.
Stern was saying the badlands show was good today. I might check it out.

I myself have been a little disappointed in the story-line this season. I expected the Alexandria's to be killed pretty quickly, but it was slow to happen. When they come back in 2016, it is supposedly going to get pretty gory. Negan is going to be introduced and they might loose a main character.
As for the Badlands, I thought it was pretty good. It's not going to win an Emmy, but it is entertaining. I loved that line in the first episode. Where the baron asks his new recruits: "Do you want to kill in my name".

I am not at all excited for the return in 2 weeks. Last fall was a big disappointment.

MT, watch the first episode. It supposedly sets the pace for the new season. At least I hope it does.

The show is getting repetitve. Same thing happens again and again. Tired of the bad guy of the month thing too. They need to grow the plotlines.

This might not me being a good person, but I was hoping Coral was on the hit list.
Who is the next to go? My guess is "one eyed" Coral is the next to go, at least I am sticking with that thought

Supposedly, in the comics, Coral becomes even more bad ass than his father... Same wit without any moral fabric

Thanks Joe, that would be interesting story line. From a little punk to a major bad ass. Maybe Coral is the one that takes out Negan?

Read rumors that Daryl is going to get it before the season is over. He's got a new show that he's starring in, and there's a death in the script for one of the big characters before the end of the season.
Also, I wonder if they read the criticisms of the first half of the season and made any changes or ramped things up a bit for that first episode? That thing was action packed and full of stuff. It's almost as if they were trying to blitz us with great stuff to start this half off.

Unfortunately, I've loosely followed the comics, and there's definitely a big death coming, but unless the completely change the script, it's not supposed to be Daryl

I know the show often doesnt go the same way but why do people feel the need to mention the comics on a thread about the TV show?

Glen is not going to die by Neagan's hand as he did in the comics. It's going to be Darryl.

Umm because the show is based on the comics? So its ok to potentially ruin it for people who dont read the comics?

Umm because the show is based on the comics? So its ok to potentially ruin it for people who dont read the comics? Who ruined anything? You think that was a giant spoiler? Not to mention, it's kind of common knowledge of what's going to happen, but the fascinating part is seeing how they get there. Can you not watch Better Call Saul because you know how it ends?
