I care. I love me some cycling. At least it's a sport, unlike golf, nascar or wrestling.

cycling is my favorite of all the doping sports. Even more than football? And the other Football? Anyone who thinks that doping is not prevalent in other sports is not paying attention. The difference is that cycling really tests. Every winner is tested every time, plus random testing in and out of season. How many Seahawks or Patriots do you think will have to give a sample today? In cycling, you win a race, you go straight doping control as soon as you get off the bike. (Plus random tests for all finishers at every event). Look into Operation Peurto. The Spaniards whitewashed a lot of their dopers in football (soccer), tennis, and other sports.

What in your mind is the difference? Using PEDs is doping.

taking your blood out, spinning it with more of your own red blood cells, and putting it back in.
or adding epo/testosterone/etc. and some other elements, but i look at doping as a whole different level of ridiculous compared to peds.

I get what you are saying about the transfusing-but testosterone and epo were not added to the blood transfusions. That was a separate issue. Blood doping via transfusion was done to increase the red blood cells to increase the oxygen carried to the muscles furing aerobic/anaerobic exercise. That process is done in endurance sports such as track, maratjon runners, cycling and soccer. Dr. Fuentes was working with a broad spectrum of athletes, not just cyclists.
