It was kind of weird to take away wins because a coach was blowing kids in the shower.

This is the most disguising thing the ncaa has ever done and that is saying something.

I agree with Philly. I have no issue with this. JoPa wasn't the one fûcking children and players on all of his teams don't deserve to be wiped from the record books either

I'm thinking about the victims.
Protecting the legacy at all costs has won. It should have been stopped years ago. A lot of victims should have never been victims if the right thing was done.
This is fucked up.

Maybe they should punish every fan that attended a game. Two hours in timeout for the victims.

You worry about the players. But that fuck gets his legacy back. You think that's ok? The whole fucking reason some of those kids were allowed to be molested, his fucking legacy, and hey, that's what really matters.

Those players are really traumatized by not being able to say they won a game. Poor babies.

Punish the people that committed crimes, not everyone associated with Penn State.

You sound fucking retarded You're a fucking idiot if you think it's ok to brush it all away. For the NCAA to say, hey it's our mistake. It didn't matter those kids were raped in the PSU showers. JoePa gotta have his wins. Those poor players are distraught they can't say they won a game...we can't have that now can we?

This is fucked up. Were you fucked in the butt by a football coach by chance? As a father, I 100% agree with the need for punishment for those who are guilty and retribution for the victims. The players on those team are not guilty and don't to be punished by proxy. Their punishment is no retribution to the victims.

I thnk Joe had a responsibility to stop what was happening, it would have directly avoided others suffering the same fate. Give the university the wins back, but not the coach.

There really isn't any way anyone can convince me that the cover-up was worse than the crime. Sandusky is the monster and its a crying shame that people can think otherwise.
With that said, the other adults involved certainly enabled the monster by their inaction, ignorance, and disregard for children. They are criminals too in my mind, but not on the same level as Sandusky.
What is totally clear is that way too much value has been placed on these wins - by everyone. It's abhorrent that the NCAA has bartered them over fear of losing a lawsuit. It's even more abhorrent that there was a lawsuit filed over something as meaningless as football wins while so many kids were violated and they literally have no recourse to right the true wrongs.
This whole thing makes me puke.

I have no doubt it did. And the cover uppers are criminals too for that, just not on the same level as Sandusky. There is a special room in hell for guys like Sandusky.

As a father, I'd want everyone who committed or hid the acts held accountable. As to your other fucking question, no. But I would expect a father to feel strongly about defenseless kids being raped. You're being more concerned about football wins makes me wonder if you had been and enjoyed it...
