This is for all League discussion (EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, etc.), as well as Champions League.
Come on you Spurs!!!

I'm absolutely shocked that my team, Dortmund is not only doing poorly but DFL is the Bundesliga and at risk of moving down. WTF

Really odd. I know they've lost a lot over the past few seasons, and Reus can't stay healthy, but that's no reason for a relegation battle.
Plus, Arsenal fans are still cheering for Klopp to come to London even with their struggles!

Tim's beard is insane.
Crappy draw for Spurs today.
I genuinely thought Chelsea could go unbeaten, so today surprised me. I will say though, you saw today how much Matic means to them.

Fraze, it looks like the Spurs & the Reds will not break any records in scoring this season. Reds have problems all over the field. Without Sturridge and Suarez the rest of the lineup looks like a bunch of misfits. Steven Gerard has been a great player, but he has lost a step and in this league you can become liability very quickly. Both of these teams need to make changes. Spurs a couple of tweaks, but Reds need help all over. While Rodgers is a good coach, ihe doesn't look to be the best man at talent acquisition. Going to be a long season.

I still think Rodgers can be successful, but there isn't a sense of urgency with the ball. No Sturridge has hurt more than anything. They don't have someone who make a play with the ball. Sterling is a fine player, but he needs help up front and Lambert isn't the one to create the chances. He's a finisher. I'd rather have Gerrard play 45 minutes as an attacking mid than 90 as a holding mid.

I think Rodgers can still be successful too. They basically lost Suarez and Sturridge this year. I think once SturriSturridge comes back, they'll be a different team. I'm not so sure Gerrard can be an attacking mid anymore though. Especially since it will clog up space that Lallana, Sterling, and ideally Coutinho would occupy.

Oh,and Spurs need more than a couple tweaks. We need at least 1 centerback, a left back (unless Davies improves further), a right back (unless Walker or Yedlin come through) and at least one more striker. Also doesn't help that our 2 most creative players play the same position in Eriksen and Lamela. Although, I'm not too big on Lamela, but we might lose Eriksen.

Dog & Fraze, while I agree with Rodgers is a solid coach, some of his moves have been poor. Lallana needs to play a lot more, right now he is their best mid-fielder. Striker we have a huge problem. Sturridge when healthy is a very good talent, but he will need a running mate. The ones that Rodgers put on the roster do not and will not be sufficient. Rodgers spent a lot of money and the results are poor. I don't believe they will sack (fire) this year, but he has to have better results.

I agree on Lallana. He needs as much playing time as possible. I like Marcovic too, but he seems to be a little mistake prone. You do need another striker, but playing Sturridge every week up top will greatly improve what they've been doing.

Yuck for Liverpool today. But that front for United is gonna be tough for most.
Hoping Spurs don't poop the bed today....

3-0 score was horrible for Liverpool, but they passed & moved the ball better then they have all season. At least there was some sort of sustainable attack, but their finishing is dreadful. The mid-field looked better, Countinho & Lallana were moving the ball creating chances. Unfortunately Allen(small & slow), Henderson(looks lost), and Gerrard(sad) are all dead weight. Henderson is still a good athlete, so he could be salvageable. Allen has never been an good EPL player, he is slow and gets taken off the ball way to easily. Gerrard has been a great player and still good at free kicks, but that is it. Father-time has robbed him of the rest of his skills. Please do not get me started on the "so-called" strikers, we know where I stand. There is big rumors about Simon Mignolet & Rodgers having a big fallout. Over what?? I don't know for sure. Has Rodgers lost the locker-room? The tabloids over there are going to have a field day.

Henderson is definitely still valuable.
I don't understand what Rodgers is doing with Lallana. He was the first sub in that game. He is like Lambert, the more time they get, the more results. Lambert because of his age may not be worth the time investment, but Lallana certainly is. Especially with all the bishing about Sterling's playing time. If you guys don't want him, send him over to White Hart Lane. I'll give you Lamela for him.
Side note: Eriksen is friggin awesome. Please don't go.

Lallana supposedly has had 2 broken ribs. That's why on limited playing time, but that is from one of the sport's tabloid in London. So makes sense, but those papers are not known for their integrity. More coming on the goalie situation later, which might have become the Reds biggest problem.

Huge win for Spurs yesterday. And we got the good draw for the next round. We'll look silly if we lose, but I'd rather have that risk then play Chelsea or Liverpool.

That was sick.
Menez is really getting some run lately.
Another win for Chelsea. I think I heard Mourinho has won a title every time he's been at the top at Christmas.

I don't know how real it is, but Gab Marcotti just tweeted out a story about United making a bid for Bale.
I almost think it's more likely they try for Ronaldo.
If Bale comes back to the EPL, and it's no at White Hart Lane, I may hang myself.

Liverpool 3 points from Burnley. That's about all I can say about that.

I'd be happy about Sterling getting on the board.
And Spurs get 3 more points.
We're on a roll, but have a tough stretch coming up.

Liverpool has looked better. Sterling will look a lot better when Sturridge comes back. Rodgers keeps showing Balotelli to much love. The man should be on the next bus out of town, but Rodgers is sticking with his over priced purchase. Maybe to his demise at the end of the season. Rumors are still persistent that the American owners would like to get rid of him and replace him with Ajax boss Frank de Boer.
Sorry Fraze rumors are consistent about Bale coming back with either Man U or Chelsea as the likely place. The papers already have RM shopping for his replacement. With Marco Reus of Dortmund as their top choice. Although as I have always said the sports pages over there are always ready to run with any rumor that is being whispered. They never check the facts, just the sensational headlines that will help them sell papers.
