Maybe that's what's missing, someone needs to get on his ass about not hyping himself up. Maybe he will play like he's a real nfl QB! Lol Stafford is not a rah rah guy. Makes you wonder how he commands a huddle but from everything I've seen and heard he's a quiet humble guy. Not your usual archetype for a franchise QB. Seriously? Go watch nfl films where he is mic'd up. leading is the best part of Staffords game it's really his only part

I would take cutler for Stafford I want nothing to do with Jay Cuntler or his whore wife. It is just a pipe dream anyways. Stafford isn't getting traded that's for certain. Eli Romo cutler fuck I would take cHenne at this point. Today was the worst I have seen from him. He made like 4 good throws (2 really really good throws) and like 14 bad ones

Yeah Kelly hall is Kristen cavilarri without the fame Maybe Augusti is pissed about how the hills ended or something. Or how UM is paying Ballz 8M per year. Still waiting to hear back on that call.

Not following why pbaugh has so much beef with me on the Harbaugh thing. Early on after Brandon was fired, Sam made it out to sound like things were going from bad to worse in the AD with Schlissel. My guess is that some of the big money people stepped in and told Schlissel to let the AD people handle the AD.

It's funny the difference between great and shitty is really like two or three throws a game. If Stafford hits Calvin on the deep ball that he overthrew, the Golden Tate fourth down overthrow, and maybe one or two others we're probably having a totally different conversation today.
I do wonder how much of the offenses problem is coaching. Just frustrating when it seems like the running game is starting to gain steam and then a drive will fall apart because of three straight throws. Or how about putting Bell and Bush on the field at the same time more often? Reggie is a nightmare for a LB to have to cover in pass protection. And that's not a defense of Staffdong. He is what he is. But people have won Superbowls recently with Joe Flacco and Eli Manning.

I'm going to go back to SI and bring over some of the knowledge bombs you laid on people, as they repeadedly told you what would actually happen (and it did).

I'm having a hard time not blaming Stafford for this loss.
This was his game, his moment to shine and take a big step forward. The guy just cannot win the big game.
He's never beaten an 0.500 or better team on the road. Never.

I don't think they have to trade him. They just need to stop making game plans with him chucking the ball 40+ times. They need to follow the Cowboys model. Stafford and Romo were quite similar. This yr with a much larger focus on the run, Romo and the Cowboys have been more successful than ever.

Ehhhh Rivers is not in the stratosphere of those. IMHO Big Ben is on the edge but the Steelers wouldn't pull the trade unless they knew they could fix him and get 15 more years from a QB. Personally there are few QBs I'd trade for right now because age is a huge deal. Untouchables Peyton, Brady, Luck, Rodgers, Brees and I'll give you Big Ben. Hot garbage I'd tell to go fuck off: Cutler, Manziel, Eli, Bortles, mcCown, Bradford, Dalton, Flacco, metzenberger, Romo, Kaep, Orton, Smith, i dont see matty ice anywhere.....

Stafford isn't going to change. I'm surprised we even got him to stop that side arm, back foot bullspit.

How much of his contract is guaranteed?
I'd say give him one more year, but I have concerns that he has reached his ceiling.
I don't know if it's prudent to cut bait with him, but they may want to start looking towards the draft this spring or next, to take a QB.

This yr with a much larger focus on the run, Romo and the Cowboys have been more successful than ever. The running game was working yesterday. Staffdong hits those easy ones and they get momentum. Keep the kicking chains moving. Down and distance. His misses changed what they had to run. It's not coaching. It's not play-calling (for the most part), the Lions MUST get consistent, good or better play from the QB position. Mediocre/roller coaster at best wont cut it. Staffdong has to make the easy, simple to mediocre throws. He's paid like a qb who can. He's treated like one who does. How about actually fucking doing it for the whole game.
