So does anyone have any luck going to the Joe without tickets and being able to score some decent seats for under face value, especially in the Lower bowl? Not talking about games vs. the Leafs, Hawks, Habs or other big rivals. Just amazes me to see so many empties in the lower bowl. I know those tickets are most likely sitting on some Corporate guys desk at work or dresser at home but damn, some of those must see the street for dumping!
If so, any tips on best location or time before puck drop to wheel & deal? Hate to make the drive down from Flint just to get stymied at the gate!

My buddy used to say to stop at one of the bars down there before the game and tell the bartender you were looking. I don't remember which one though. I'll have to see of I can get ahold of him and ask him. He's not very easy to get a hold of. He said its first come first serve and made it sound like the guy usually has a few sets either laying around or a phone call away.

Usually you can grab them in front of the exit/entrance to the parking deck off the lodge. Or in the giant tunnel crossing over to the joe/people mover stop.
