They would beat most NBA teams right now... The Pistons would have fits with them. I would pay fistfuls of money to watch that...

Why so confident? Pistons would likely win- but I doubt it would be by 50. Either them or Philly would be primed to be picked off if Kentucky gets hot

Pistons or any NBA team would win by 20-30 consistently.

I usually laugh at comparisons like this too- but once a decade, there's a team in college that's just loaded- like that old UNC team. For all intents and purpose- Kentucky is a NBA team. Their entire starting lineup will be starting in the NBA Next year.
If you take Anthony Davis, Julius Randle, Nerlens Noel, Michael Kidd Ghilcrist and Archie Goodwin...now, a year/2 into the NBA and put them on one team- they would potentially route a shitty team like the Pistons or 6'ers.
If I asked: "could this years all rookie team beat the Pistons"? It wouldn't be so easily dismissed. kentuckys starting lineup is basically a year from all being on the NBA all rookie team.

Kentucky isn't used to playing against nba size and strength for one. They also haven't been playing together long. Nba teams play hundreds of more games together. You think the Pistons would look bad if they switched places with Kentucky? Ridiculous

Pistons would beat them, and it wouldn't be close. You example is exactly why. You named the best Kentucky players over a 3 or so year period and asked if they'd beat a lowly NBA team. That's not what would happen. It would be a current Kentucky roster. With guys who will make it, and won't. Meanwhile, the NBA is exactly that. They just collect those guys you mentioned on their teams, along with other vet's and superb college players.
At best, Kentucky would be playing a slightly older, more experienced version of themselves.

I picked 5 players that all played together at Kentucky on the same team

Still though, we have experience attached to those players now, and they'd be playing players similar to them, but older and more experienced.
Davis/MKG/Noel at 18 are totally different than them at 21/22 with a few years in the league.

I picked 5 players that all played together at Kentucky on the same team I'm totally going off memory here, but I don't think they did.
